Many thanks for the input. I’m a registered Independent, so the e-mail and USPS donation requests no longer come. And since changing my affiliation to Independent, none of our local politicians have ever come to my door to ask me to vote for them. So I guess there’s that to it.
One thing I don’t understand about OK’s closed primaries is why, when I went to my local polling place in the next election, the poll workers there told me I was invited to vote on the Democrat ballot, but not the Republican ballot. Weird.

If you say it first, it’s sincere and empathetic. It’s normally used for something a person can do nothing about.

I got the call from the Sherriff Dept asking for charity money. I asked the nice lady on the other end of the line if our Sherriff would protect the citizens of my county from draconian mandates from the feds. Specifically I asked would the Sherriff carry out arrests for mask violations, vaccination refusals, or vax segregation. She could not answer. I asked to call me back with an answer. Haven’t heard back yet.

Those poll workers were in violation of campaign election law.
Invites such as that are “campaigning on behalf”.
If you apply the 6% from post 1425 to the 834,000 from post 1432, you get about 50,000 deaths from just Covid. Compare that to the VAERS numbers, and keep in mind how much longer the coof has been around compared to the jab.

I'm trying to keep an open mind about this. I've known for a long time that Saget was a "comedian's comedian." Initially shocking as his Full House character was "clean," it eventually became common knowledge.
I'm trying to reconcile him being a vile man and his friendship with Norm Macdonald who I still consider a good guy who used his unique brand of humor to expose Hollywood depravity and hypocrisy.
