This beer is dirty!
Pabst Blue Ribbon took a bizarre stance Monday against those abstaining from drinking this month, tweeting — and then deleting — “Not drinking this January? Try eating ass.”
When someone on Twitter asked the company what the tweet against “Dry January” was about, it said “it’s about ass and eating it.”
The tweet went viral, as users expressed their shock the official brand would use such crass language to discuss those trying to cut back their alcohol intake in the New Year.

Nobody drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon anymore - so they are trying to make it attractive to homosexuals.
They tried to push it in dive bars in Colorado, along with Strohs. It didn’t work out. Many moons ago I used to drink a lot of Strohs in Michigan. I tried it again and it was wretched. Maybe too much Hoffa in the mix.
Gotta be a hack. Frankly PBR is my go to decent beer. Costco sells it for cheap and it’s pretty good.
All you snooty beer hounds out there, don’t even bother. I’ve drank a ton of beer and tried a ton of beer. I like a ton of other beers. But for cost and taste ratio it’s PBR for me. The redneck champaign!
LOL!
PBR...last blue ribbon was 1893.
Just showed this to hubby.
His eyebrows shot up into his hairline.
I love watching that.
PBR, Old English and Old Milwaukee are all under the same company. IMO inexpensive, great tasting Pilsners. Back in my Army days I would drive from Lawton to Wichita Falls to load up on Old Milwaukee, 3.6% abv. It was my favorite US COTS beer. Favorite beer overall was GE Darmstadter Pilsner or Eders Pilsner. The Eders was available at the Shopette for less than a six pack of soda.
One of the mods has a warped sense of humor. I believe I posted this a year ago. Look at the posting dates of the replies. LOL
I confused meself on the dates.
Sweet! Good old military Shopette days!
That’s what I was thinking. Maybe a pissed off former employee.
I thought it was AI gone awry.
PBR taste like ass so what’s the difference? It won America’s best beer in 1893...nuff said.
Disregard my last one 🤣🤣🤣 I hit the HappyNew Years banner and the 2022 PBR story popped up first.
