May 2019: Cop rear-ends a driver, then harasses and arrests him.
A Maryland trooper cut off a friend of mine then pulled him over for illegal lane change and careless driving.
When he came up to give him his ticket, my friend handed the cop his phone and said that the cop should talk to his supervisor.
YouTube is full of dash cam videos. They can be good insurance against this crap. Some only view front, others have a front and rear camera. Some also record sound, but be careful in your jurisdiction. Recording laws will apply
Any recommendations for a good camcorder??

No. I had a cheep one that took crappy video. Haven't replaced it.
Though, everybody should have one.
The best dashcam I’ve ever had is the Garmin. It is literally plug and play. You install it and turn on your car and the thing works. No messing around with all sorts of incomprehensible settings and instructions written in “Ingrish”...the things just WORK.
I’ve got one in both cars facing front and will soon enough be installing rear facing cameras as well.

GoPro
Say what?
The three I see most on the dash cam videos are Garmin, Rexing, and Nextbase. There are others, but they don't show up as often. The best ones will have both a front-facing and rear-facing camera. These will help with the tailgaters/rear collisions. In this Vet's case, it would have shown the cop prior to his 360-degree turn and his colliding with the Vet's car. Some even have a shock sensor and auto save to the cloud. They start around $100 and go up.
Maybe it makes sense if you were there.
Where did he arrest the driver?
According to Dr. Clarissa Cole, fully one half the candidates she flat out FAILED on their required pre-employment psychological evaluation were hired as police or corrections officers.“Any police department (or university faculty, or military unit, etc.) is only as good as the worst psycho they tolerate.” ~ H/T RedStateRockerIn her own words here
Did this most stellar example fail his psych eval, hmmmm?
Where did he arrest the driver?
Did you watch the video?
I was rear ended by a Houston Police Officer when I was 17. Guy on the feeder road didn’t yield, guy in front of me slams on brakes, I slam on brakes, cop slams on brakes but not quick enough and hits me. Guy in front hears the crash and steps on it to avoid me hitting him. He keeps going. Cop and I pull over. Cop tries to give me a ticket but I had the presence of mind to ask if we could go to the substation to call my Mom. I told her the cop was trying to give me a ticket. She got there and asked to speak to the supervisor. The cop tried to say he thought I hit the car in front of me to justify the ticket. Supervisor told him BS and tore up the ticket and had me fill out an accident report. They paid to fix my car.
Cops lying is just par for their course, Nully.

Oh, but once they all have dash and body cams, you'll see that they always tell the truth..../s
Lol, I’m thinking you were the cop’s supervisor?
Once had a local PD officer purposely pullout in front of me causing me to lock up my brakes. Said he was “testing my reactions” to make sure I was not drunk. Then he bent down and looked over at my female passenger... I was dating the Chief’s daughter at the time... And he had just endangered her life.
He called the police station and told the supervisor what was going on.
All charges were dropped and the cop was reprimanded.
