Yuengling accuses Bud Light of trampling on trademark

A trademark tiff between America's oldest beer maker and its best-selling beer brand appears to be over before it really began.
Last week, D.G. Yuengling & Son demanded its much larger rival, Anheuser-Busch, stop using a tagline for its forthcoming Bud Light Next zero-carb beer.
Bud Light had been calling it the "next generation of beer."
Yuengling says that's too close to the trademarked slogan it uses for its low-carb brew Flight.
Yuengling poked fun at Anheuser-Busch on social media and sent the beer giant a cease-and-desist letter.
Anheuser-Busch has since scrubbed its social media accounts of the disputed posts.

I bet both will taste like spring water. I like a beer that’s so malty and yeasty, you feel you could actually bite off a piece and chew it.

I tried the Black and Tan recently. I thought it was nasty.

This is the first time I’ve heard of Yuengling beer. I’m 72. Hoe famous can it be?

Yuengling is actually beer. Bud lite is for people who voluntarily wear worthless face masks and voted for Biden.

Even I have heard of it and I don't drink beer.
Maybe you live on the West Coast?

Yuengling on tap is pretty common around San Antonio. They were even the sponsor for a Ray Wylie Hubbard radio show on KNBT. Good stuff....Both the beer and the radio show.

Interesting.
Maybe it is a North East / Midwest thing.

I don't go at all.
But I did work in a gas station. You see all the beers there.

Yuengling is from Pittsburg. A very good beer. Much better than any Busch beer. Anybody who thought it was from China is not a beer snob, but a beer slob.

Stella? Really? that’s grunt beer.

Been drinking Yuengling Premium for about 30 years or so. Top notch, in my book.
