Vanity/Vent- Vaccine mandate at job… what to do??
VANITY | 12/21/2021 | Me

Posted on 12/21/2021 7:54:02 AM PST by ObozoMustGo2012

Preface: I am not looking for medical advice or help in decision making. Just venting and hoping to get an idea of how other folks in my situation are making out or how they are preparing.

So… my job has a strict vaccine mandate that is set to start Jan 4th. Basically, if I don’t load my card into the HR system which collects these, I will be fired from my job on Jan 5th… no severance. My religious exemption, originally approved at first, was ultimately denied, and they are not allowing exemptions for remote workers (like me), nor periodic testing in lieu of an injection. Despite numerous back and forth emails with HR, they are sticking to their guns (or needles) with this directive.

I was at first dead set on not getting it for the same reasons and fears that everyone else has. I was hoping that the various court challenges, etc. would put a pause on it until I found a better job, but that didn’t happen.

I would normally welcome the idea of time off (especially while living in Florida), however, IF i did find a job, I would take a significant cut in pay. Also (and most importantly) personal insurance would be too expensive per month (Thanks Obama). I have some orthopedic issues I need to have addressed in the coming year and cantt afford the premiums or deductibles on an individual Florida Blue plan.

I just moved to Florida (working from my mother’s house, job HQ in NJ) and need to afford buying a condo (housing prices are through the roof). I won’t be able to finance if I don’t have a job, and I worry I wouldn’t be able to afford monthly HOA/condo fees and taxes if I pay cash.

I am between a rock and a hard place. At this point, I am debating just getting the J&J/Janssen one and done, as the risk of side effects (as a mid-40s male) seems the least compared to the mRNA ones, and it’s more like a traditional “vaccine” compared to the gene therapy of the others.

Anyone else gone through or facing a similar situation/decision? How did you/are you managing through it and making ends meet? I am not so much worried about a salary as I am the insurance coverage (once again, thanks Obama!).

Get a lawyer and threaten to sue them if you get the jab under duress and have an adverse reaction.

Whatever you do, don’t quit your job and don’t stop doing well. In fact do better if you can. Make them the bad guys. You have to look out for yourself. I don’t judge people who choose to get, or not get, jabbed. They decided what was best for them.

"Can’t imagine why the CDC, Pfizer and Moderna haven’t approved an alternative to the mRNA shots."

Because the genetic modification companies want the control group (YOU) dead.

J and J also causes blood clots. Just FYI. I would do everything you can to avoid any of the jabs if you have any interest in surviving long term.

Hold out and make them fire you. Then just find another job. It’s not worth your life to keep working somewhere.

My son works remote about 90% of the time. He was given a religious exemption. Initially they wanted a test result every 72 hours regardless of his office time.

He got them to back off to a test before he goes in.

Faced with bills & mouths to pay, and not being particularly anti-vaccine (minimum risk category however you squint at it), I did J&J at last minute. I can understand their position, having many employees and deep pockets to pick, statistics not leaning in their favor otherwise.

That done, it’s a singular even solely between them and me, none of the gov’ts d@mn business - anything hinting at “papieren, Bitte” will be fought over literally.

Hubby given religious exemption for covid, denied even after appeal for flu shot.

Sent info to liberty council. They said EEOC is next. Religious discrimination. He’s working on that now.

Oh, employer tried to stop unemployment. TWC interviewed hubby and said it wasn’t about job performance. He got his first check yesterday.

We are in Tx.

My son is facing the same kind of mandate from a private entity. He’s vaxxed and now they are demanding a booster on top of that, which is ridiculous.

He’s also looking for a new job.

Prayers up for all caught in this despicable situation.

Maybe some others with prayer ping lists could ping them for prayer for all forced into this situation.

You are so full of BS.

The vaxxes are not safe and NOBODY should be forced, mandated, or whatever you want to call it to undergo any medical treatment or procedure, even if it’s good for them.

You seem to clearly be missing of ignoring the main point, which is the freedom of self-determination. If you think it’s good for you, fine. Take it. But do NOT force others to do what you think they should. That is the primary hallmark of a dyed-in-the-wool commie.

The main difference between human beings and animals is our ability to say “no”.

Each human being must stand up and defend their right to their own body.

It may cost money, it might cost convenience, and some day it may even cost liberty.

But, we are not lab animals.

We must not become lab animals.

We must stand up and say “no”.

No.

No f*&^ing way.

Not with my body.

No.

I’m facing the same demands from family, with the threat of being excluded from family gatherings.

Reason has no effect. Nor do scientific studies.

The temptation to just lie through my teeth to get them off my back is growing.

This too will pass.

Stand firm, stand tall.

That is called leadership and honor.

You want to be remembered for that.

Sounds like the great delusion God is preparing to send on the world.

I always wondered how people could be so deluded.

I still wonder, but now have seen how possible it is and am continually amazed by it.

Sign up for all the gif economy jobs.

Uber, Lyft, spark, not doordash though. They Pay garbage.

Do it now. Slide into another job quickly and the pain won’t be so bad.
