The student newspaper at an Ohio college known for its left-leaning politics published a column addressing the number of white students attending campus concerts.
“When there are so few resources for non-white students on campus, it can be upsetting when concerts headlined by artists of color are dominated by white students,” wrote Kayla Kim, a first-year student at Oberlin College....
In the Dec. 10 column titled “Concerts Need to Be Better for Students of Color,” Kim claimed that whites, who comprise the majority of the student population, take over events by displacing black students in the front rows....
...Kim also wrote a column about on-campus racism, which discussed how white students had complained on social media about feeling uncomfortable walking through black dorms. When black students responded, they were “talked over” and “experienced microaggressions,” she claimed....

They are extremely sensitive to microaggressions by Whites but oblivious to their own massive macroaggressions against Whites.
Wait, how come it isn’t, “more non-white people should attend our concerts”?

Remove the white kids from the rap music scene, then pretty soon, there wont be that much rap music.
So win,win for everyone.
Looks like the student demographic is barely 5% black.
They need to do some serious recruiting in the ‘hood.
I went to a Herbie Hancock concert once because I liked his music.

Oberlin costs $60,000 per year . My guess he is on a full ride. He should request free front row seat as part of his package.

I was stationed in Denver 30 years ago and I remember there was a “black yellowpages” back then. This kind of crap has been going on for a long time and perhaps they (liberals and blacks) could reach the logical conclusion that exclusion isn’t helping them.
It would be interesting to know how many scholarships they offered to black students—and how many turned them down...
Colleges are all competing for the same black students—and Oberlin is not high enough on the pecking order to compete.
I went to a Bob Marley concert at Madison Square Garden back in 1977. I’d estimate about 10 percent of us were white. It was no problem back then.
Has Tori noticed that white students dominate the drinking fountains throughout the school too? She needs to campaign for separate “blacks only” and “whites only” drinking fountains.
