Biden's vaccine mandate is on hold, but companies are moving ahead anyway [My Q on vaxxed but against mandates]

Kropp said with many businesses planning to reopen offices early next year for the first time since the start of the pandemic, employers also have to worry about employees not wanting to return to the office without the assurance that their co-workers are all vaccinated as well. That's another reason that some employers will go ahead with their own rules, even if the ongoing court battles mean the federal rules won't go into effect by the planned date of January 4.

Those companies are being privately cautioned (i.e., threatened by Government) to impose those mandates even though court actions have been taken and restrictions imposed.

Government (Biden) knows those national mandates are illegal and that he doesn’t have the power to impose them directly. That’s why he’s using all arms of those agencies under his control to coerce companies, whether through reimbursement with government funding, withholding of funding, having agencies like OSHA step in and hound them, or just plain tacitly imply retribution of some sort. That’s classical fascism. Make private industry do what government cannot do directly.

UAW pulled Ford , GM, and whatever Chrysler’s name du jour out a week or more ago. Cleveland Clinic, and according to Berenson, Verizon, GE, 3M and HCA, which is the largest hospital chain in America are all out also. Don’t tell the people CNN.

Wow, if this is true, then many Americans working today have no capacity to think clearly, about anything.

You wouldn't believe the Gen Z'ers I get into disputes with on other boards. I feel sorry for them, because the gift of critical thinking has been totally denied to them by their educators and entertainers. They simply cannot allow themselves to question a pronouncement from a Government/Media Complex figure, no matter how absurd.

These companies face an irreconcilable dilemma, and must choose between the following options:

1. Don’t mandate anything, and risk getting sued by employees who contract COVID at work.

2. Mandate the “vaccine,” and risk getting sued by employees who suffer from adverse side effects.

Any company that has mandated these stupid things outside a government edict has probably measured these risks carefully and determined that Scenario #2 is far less likely to happen than Scenario #1.

Lawsuits will be costly for the companies that do this.

Losing employees that will not be easily replaced will be devastating for many.

Japan is on the right track!
Alert: Japan Places Myocarditis Warning on ‘Vaccines’ - Requires Informed Consent

https://rairfoundation.com/alert-japan-places-myocarditis-warning-on-vaccines-requires-informed-consent/

Novel Additives: Descriptions Clarify:
“...Three Covid-19 gene-therapy treatments are currently offered in Japan. They include the Pfizer/BioNTech (Comirnaty) and Takeda’s Moderna formulation. The product descriptions (here and here) state that “this product contains an additive that has never been used in a vaccine before.”

Furthermore, the pharmaceutical companies urge you to consult your doctor about the additive if you plan to be injected with it. In addition to the Pfizer and Moderna gene-therapies, Vaxzevria (formerly AstraZeneca) is also administered in Japan. However, Japan only recommends it to people 40-year-old and over. Reference is also made to the new type of additive in the Vaxzevria injections.

I wonder, though, if this sets them up for legal liability in cases of vaccine injuries, since the government isn’t “forcing” them to mandate.

The entire medical, legal and government establishment is set up to make it very difficult to "prove" that a shot "caused" the injury or death. Just a coincidence, or the ailment was there all along, playing basketball just catalyzed it, etc.

It has always been a company mandate. Until the states assign full adverse effect liability ($10M and life insurance coverage) to companies that do these mandates they will not stop. Or CEO’s start dying.

I thought that for a long time too but I definitely caught a virus that caused me to lose my taste and smell that tested positive on a home CoVID test multiple times.

It wasn’t fun but I’ve been sicker before.

“ employers also have to worry about employees not wanting to return to the office without the assurance that their co-workers are all vaccinated ”

A great many people don’t want to be around vaxers. They can carry and spread covid without themselves having symptoms and shed spike proteins all over the place. Better keep them away from normal folks.

employees not wanting to return to the office without the assurance that their co-workers are all vaccinated as well.

Something tells me, that this sentence is a plant.

Maybe I'm having a Pauline Kael moment, but across my business and peers, I haven't heard ANYONE say they won't come back lest all of their colleagues have had their shots. Now, I don't doubt that there ARE people like that - you know, the people who support the annual NPR fund drive and have print subscriptions to The Atlantic - or that they punch above their weight by being a Karen.

But the business of America is business. Clients have needs to be met, innovation doesn't happen by magic, and the destructive waves of capitalism never sleep. I suspect most places, unless their local Il Duce is named De Blasio and their hand is being forced, are fine with the OSHA path of shots or tests, or just leave it to be a personal medical matter and get on with it. Indeed, by collecting this info, there is now a legal burden to safeguard it and protect this confidential info; while a Fortune 500 firm has the resources to do that, a middle market business is susceptible to a cyber attack through their fish tank and it being held for ransom.

And while people love to hate on HR, my experience is that they've had to pull some incredible Jedi tricks over the past 2 years...imagine dealing with FReepers AND DUmmies in the same office.

I've spoken to many colleagues, and many who've had shots are like our fellow FReepers.....they don't care about vaxx status, they want to get on with work and life. Could it be, that it's the MSM that's making this an issues?

If one is “vaccinated” and believes it works, why would it matter if a co-worked is not “vaccinated”?

For Democrats it's not about the spread of the disease; it's about totalitarian control.

“60% of companies are going ahead with plans as if Biden’s January 4 deadline remained in place... Only about 10% of the business executives who participated in the survey Tuesday said they were taking a step back... Another 30% said they are still weighing how to proceed.”

Don’t believe the poll. No way on 60% - propaganda to nudge HR depts.

The big phara companies that produce these vaccines are immune from lawsuits, but private companies are not.

If being tested is a company requirement the company should be forced to pay for it.

Here are some articles in which the liability for company-required vaccination is discussed. A few mention specific states and also discuss how companies can avoid liability, or how regulations/legislation might limit companies from liability:

Employers face liability by requiring COVID shots
Employer Liability for COVID-19 Vaccine Side Effects
Vaccine Mandates Need Liability Shields
UPDATE: The COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout: What Employers Need to Know
Take COVID-19 Vaccine or Else: Legal Pitfalls for Employers"

An additional web search can probably find other such articles.

Brother was forced to vax. He came down with covid and passed to 2 brothers and a triple vaxxed friend week before last. She’s very sick.

For what it’s worth, 74% of deaths this summer in the fully vaxxed.
