This is just an observation… I am a professional shopper so I am in and out stores all day every day numerous times. Last week and thru this weekend there were Salvation Army bell ringers at almost every location I worked. The last two days there have been zero. A quick look on the internet “news” shows how they’re going to spin it. A. Lack. Of. Workers. Due. To……Covid! How convenient!
Nope nope nope ….. it’s NOT because we stepped into a pile of CRT poop. It’s a “lack of workers due to covid” 🤔
Anyone have any similar observations from their area?
I’ve seen several bell ringers. What I have NOT seen is anybody putting anything in their kettles.
It’s hard to find black Santas?
They are here in Central Indiana. As I walk out of the store I say “My Apologies” and keep walking. Before this year I would make a donation.
Same here.
Saw one at our local Walmart, didn’t see anyone put anything in, I didn’t.
Same here. They seem not so anxious to talk to people which is unusual to my experience. of course, I usually put some cash in the kettle (but not this year).
they’ve been declared racists! Onward Christian soldiers!

Oh I’m definitely putting something in the kettles when I DO see them….they just can’t spend it! 😆
Have seen one...and I don’t get out much these days, so as far as I know there are plenty out.
I haven’t seen a single bell ringer at all.
Neither have I!
Our local Walmart always has had one ringer at both doors at the same time. Three visits since Thanksgiving ... no ringers, no lonely kettles. Hahaha!
Yea it’s sad really.. my mom would always donate to salvation army.. be can as kid during the depression they were dirt poor ever by depression standards .. and The Salvation Army would help them out even when their own church didn’t help them out
The Fred Meyer near me doesn’t have them this year, and they’ve had them for years. But FM is woke, and may have dropped them because LGBTQ staff feel “threatened” by them. (This is the Seattle area.)
they are saints, most charity’s are scams
I saw one at Cabelas and one at Walmart
Secret Shopper?
A pair of those got me fired from a now defunct chain store.
They wanted me to open two models and demonstrate that the impossible was not possible.
😆
Yes, a professional shopper, not a “secret” shopper. I shop for folks who don’t want to go themselves. And I don’t try to get anyone fired!
