GM, Ford and Chrysler Refuse to Comply with Covid-19 Vaccine Mandate

Big three international automakers will not require their employees to comply with the Covid-19 vaccine mandate. Following negotiation, the International Union, United Automobile, Aerospace and Agricultural Implement Workers of America managed to secure a deal preventing thousands of employees at General Motors, Ford and Chrysler from having to comply with Biden’s tyrannical mandate.

Despite this, employees at the facilities will still be required to wear a mask inside the factories, but union heads have managed to make vaccination status disclosure voluntary rather than a requirement.

A statement reads: “At a meeting Monday evening, the COVID-19 Joint Task Force, comprised of the UAW, Ford, General Motors and Stellantis, has aligned on a policy of voluntary and confidential disclosure of vaccination status for UAW members.

“Each company will provide additional communication to employees on how, where and when to report their vaccination status.”

The Task Force will continue to encourage employees to get vaccinated as well as disclose their status to company bosses. Families of UAW members are also being strongly encouraged to get jabbed against coronavirus with plenty of injections and boosters.

“After reviewing the status of CDC and OSHA guidelines, the Task Force also decided it is in the best interest of worker safety to continue masks in all worksites at this time,” the statement goes on to explain.

Whilst employees of automakers have been spared from Biden’s vaccine mandate, other sectors in the US are not so lucky. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has been informed that it must require all employees to get the jab.

these people have been working without being vaccinated for almost two years. Companies know what to do when someone comes up positive.

So, is this really corp-wide or just union workers?

Just union workers covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

I just might join the union if it is the difference between getting vaccinated or getting fired!

Sorry, but I cannot help myself.

What I want to know is:
Does this mean Fiat is not gonna obey Biden’s fiat?
As I said, I just could not help myself

Just a reminder; Stellantis is the parent of Chrysler-Fiat

The fact that so many people are exempt proves it's all arbitrary.

The real goal is the "vaccine passport," which is just a universal ID they can use to track, control and process us peasants like cattle.

So is that still the case?

After a number of court opinions against OSHA etc., scathing adverse effects reports by Pfizer including 1,200 deaths and over 11,000 unresolved adverse effects in just the first two months of this year any CEO that is not:

1. steering clear of all covid vaccine mandates
2. ending any policy of terminations or discrimination against non-vaccinated employees
3. not quietly trying to reinstate any non-jabbed and terminated employees in exchange for a hold harmless agreement

is out of his freaking mind.

The class action against this vaccine debacle will make all others before and combined look small by comparison.

I totally agree and I think the large businesses will be hung out to dry by the Biden government. Large businesses will then threaten their favorite payoff politician with withholding contributions unless they pass an Act of Congress to pay for all of this and let them off the hook.

It all comes down to money.

I wonder how many legal counsels are about to jump ship from any company where the CEOs, listening to their out-of-their-mind HR department, are pushing the mandate. I would not want to be defending any company for this BS.

Once the lawsuits (dominoes) start falling it will be epic.

This is good.

Smaller businesses cannot deal with the fallout from not complying with the mandate, but a big, powerful company like an auto manufacturer has a LOT or pull and resources.

If you have ever flown a low budget airline and casually observed the passengers, you would know that peasants are cattle

Not all of the big ones can either. Had a lovely chat with a Southwest Captian about the asymptomatic weather and sick outs. The pilots were looking to drag it out through Thanksgiving Weekend. Hard to run an airline when even your vaxxed pilots were p*ssed about the ultimatum.

This week my religious exemption was approved at the hospital where I work. I was stunned by the fury at the mandate by vaccinated co-workers. They really supported our right to say no. At the exact same time- they still think I’m crazy not to take it!

Thank God they are at least respecting your right to make your own life choices.

I guess the left probably figured that pro-vax meant pro-mandate. Boy, were they wrong.
