The Frogs Have Begun Fleeing the Government's Boiling Pot
American Thinker ^ | 2 Dec, 2021 | J.B. Shurk

The federal government spies on every email, text, and call you make. It uses your phone's location services to pinpoint where you are at all times. It knows which I.P. addresses are associated with online comments that have been deemed "politically incorrect." Its partnerships with Amazon and Walmart let it know what you're reading and buying. Its partnerships with Google and Facebook let it know what you're thinking. Its partnerships with Twitter and Hollywood allow it to censor unapproved messages before too many brains have the opportunity to consider new thoughts. Its alliance with credit card companies allows it to track all your financial transactions and thereby understand your habits, preferences, choices, and addictions. Its alliance with cellular companies allows it to monitor all your movements, contacts, and associations. And all of these consumer comforts that are used by the "national security" surveillance state to watch everyone in real time constantly measure every American's potential for subversiveness, even when that American is engaged in the most mundane things during the course of an ordinary day.

Now, whom does the government fear most under these conditions? Hint: It is not the millions of illegal aliens who pour through our uncontrolled borders (during supposedly the greatest pandemic threat in a century), or foreign governments that bankroll American elected officials (How else could Biden and other lifelong politicians be millionaires?), or the threat of an electromagnetic pulse attack taking out America's aging electrical grid (because Congress's "infrastructure" spending won't bother fixing actual infrastructure when there are so many campaign donors and special interest groups to pay off).

Rather, it is the person who has no problem walking away from the government's panopticon to go hunting in the woods, who decides to pay in cash, or who has woken up to the reality

Next steps

Have everyone download a digital passport that must be used to participate in controlled gyms, theaters, malls, and travel.

Have everyone switch to bitcoin so that Gubmint can track and tax every dollar. Gubmint is first in line and skims their vigorish from every transaction. If you have been a bad Citizen, Gubmint takes the first 90%

For those on universal income the Gubmint will guide you to a better life by controlling and limiting what you can spend your money on

Me. I leave my phone at home and pick up my messages after 6 pm. Worked out great back in the day

From the article: “Watching the government lay down fresh mandates and executive orders demanding that citizens submit to its will or suffer the consequences should be seen not as a sign of unstoppable power, but rather as evidence that its grip on power is spinning out of control.”

Yep, we got ‘em surrounded now!

Everything depends on how many people “insist on being free.” So far — not very many. Fewer with each generation, and each wave of illegal immigrants. (When they get here, what do they sign up for: defense of freedom, or welfare benefits? liberty or handouts?)

“When coercion and surveillance are required to artificially keep society intact through a top-to-bottom tyrannical squeeze, the whole system is at risk of collapse...” Soviet Union endured seven decades at risk, including periods of famine and world war; and their tyrants didn’t have the technology of ours.

America was given a glimpse of greatness during the Trump years, despite the best efforts of the opposition. Either the people chose the alternative freely, or they submitted to election fraud without sufficient objection. Of the objections made, they remind one of antebellum slaves who were permitted to grumble a little, as long as it posed no threat and could be considered a harmless letting off of steam; and when a slave irritated a master, sometimes an example to the rest was advisable.

Where are those who would be “willingly sacrificing themselves in defense of the intangible virtues of glorious ideas that sometimes require the ‘last full measure of devotion’ to persevere” — when so many have become utterly dependent on government checks for the roofs over their heads, the clothes on their backs, and the food on their tables?

When people take up arms it won’t be for glorious ideas. It will be because they have NO idea, how to house, clothe, and feed themselves.

They are deadly afraid of the American Patriot.

Which tells you all you need to know about the utterly corrupt and evil federal government.

China Joe says gun owners need F-15s and nukes to defeat Fedzilla. The Afghan mujahideen says buy one, get one free. Humvee included with every ScanEagle drone purchase.

Yeah. Right. The backdoors Apple put in their systems for the NSA only apply to the bad guys. Just ask Wray and Garland.

Either you misunderstand the methods used to date to obtain certain info from iPhones and/or the iCloud, or, you have fallen for someone’s psyop; iPhones are and remain secure today. Of course, I can’t speak to the future, as no one can ...
