Trying to make sense of the omicron COVID variant

We’re being told it’s Spring 2020 all over again, with the madness of masks and lockdowns looming, and Democrats doubling down on vaccines.

The big news today—the one that sent oil prices and stock markets plummeting—is that there is a new variant of COVID emerging in South Africa called. It’s been christened the “omicron” variant. Currently, it’s hard to tell if it’s really something to worry about or if it’s a variation on the theme. It’s enough to know that world governments are reacting as if it’s Spring 2020 all over again, plus more pressure for vaccines, all of which is ironic considering there’s no evidence that anything we did last year or this year helped stop COVID’s rampage.

An article in the San Francisco Chronicle has a mixture of fact and opinion that seems representative of the whole omicron phenomenon. First, the known facts:

The variant was discovered in South Africa, when cases suddenly spiked from an average of about 200 a day to 2,465 on Thursday. Scientists studying samples of the virus to try to explain the outbreak discovered the variant. That doesn’t necessarily mean the variant originated in South Africa, which has among the world’s best viral surveillance systems and may simply have been the first country to identify it.

Omicron has many more mutations than the currently world-dominant delta variant — more than 30 on the spike protein alone, which is considered key to the virus’ ability to infect human cells. The large number of mutations has scientists concerned that omicron could be more infectious than delta, and possibly able to evade immunity generated by previous infections or vaccines.

With the timing there is a good possibility that this is an orchestrated event to shut down Christmas.

More likely: orchestrated event to explain massive new wave of infections in Europe (already) and Northern US (coming up) despite high vaccinations levels.

Failure of vaccines cannot be admitted, thus new variants are a must to explain what is happening. And -- totally losing sense of logic -- old vaccines are still pushed to deal with variants they cannot counter.

Nailed it. We have "vaccines" which turn out to be effective for a matter of months - at best. And notice how the timing lines up for this round of "boosters" - they'll wear off before the 2022 midterm elections and you just know there will be a new "variant" then which naturally is "ultra dangerous" and can only be conquered by more mail-in voting.

Whatever else it might be in terms of biology, it is fast become a media-stoked event which like as not will become a media non-event. At the minimum, it was a spark to ignite the sales pitch that the mRNA gene therapy makers were ready to spew out another batch of untested inoculations in only "100 days."

Fauci has already tried once to shut down Christmas this year. He made some statements about a month ago about how Christmas might not be happening this year. The reaction was so negative that he was then forced to say that people might be able to have Christmas after all.

And like magic…the loyal virus comes through for him, so we’re back to no Christmas.

They hate Christmas for what it is, but they also hate it because celebrating it gives people a chance to feel normal again, get back with family and friends, sing in choirs, go to church, go to parties, have Christmas parades, etc.

All that private life that Fauci and our respective governments thought they had gotten rid of forever was creeping back in with Christmas.

We can’t have that happen, though, can we?

How do we know these are the new variant, unless the medical community is sequencing every patient sample for all 30 spike protein gene mutations...?

And, is the supposed 30 mutation variant actually killing people?

All of these government decisions and actions are based upon suppositions, not facts...
