It’s hard to discern a point to this article.
But I agree with you that “the intent is to point out this is more of a crime than “looting.”” The author of the article has a hard time driving that point home.

Such as...? Examples of times whites ran into stores and stole stuff en masse and it wasn't called looting, please.
