Jordan Peterson says he spoke to a senior government adviser who told him Canada’s COVID restriction policies are completely driven by opinion polls and not science.
“In relation to the COVID restrictions, I talked to a senior adviser to one of the provincial governments a couple of weeks ago,” said Peterson.
“He told me flat out that the COVID policy here is driven by nothing but opinion polls related to the popularity of the government,” he added.
“No science, no endgame in sight, no real plan, and so what that means is that the part of the population that is most afraid of COVID,” are driving the policy.
Peterson pointed to figures that prove people vastly exaggerate the risk of being hospitalized by COVID due to relentless government fearmongering campaigns.

Don’t be too sure. I have a ton of in-laws who have TDS and are all for lockdowns and vax passports.
Depends completely sample size.
I’m not sure I believe it’s driven by “opinion poll”.
I do believe it’s driven by “The Narrative”.
It’s about control, they aim to get more of it. If manipulating internal “opinion polls” helps the leadership get control, then they’ll do that.

Yeah, well nobody polled me about mask mandates, shut downs or vaccine mandates. I would have been crystal clear.
You can design polls to get any answer you desire.
This is factual - not because there’s not science behind the rules but because the politicians and tyrants making the rules are gaming them for the best herd effect.
I was reading elsewhere today that Brandon WANTS to mandate vaccines to fly - but they think if they hold off then more people will get peer pressure at home to take the vax when visiting relatives.
That’s not following science - at all

I don’t think the COVID rules are based solely on opinion polls. I do think they play a major part. No politician wants to be seen as not doing all he can to fight the virus.
Masks are a case in point. They highly visible. A sizeable portion of the population thinks that even if they’re not that effective, they will help some and certainly won’t be harmful. If they’re fearful enough of the virus, then they will push their politicians to mandate masks.
OTOH, other populations are vigorously opposed to masks. Their perceptions differ and they will push their politicians to avoid mask mandates.
IOW, polls are a major part of both support and opposition to various rules.

I have better luck finding the videos on bitchute but its hard to guess the name given by the person uploading it.
If you go to bitchute and simply type in Scott Atlas and change the search settings to most recent it is on the first page.
