A construction manager tackles gender stereotypes daily as she shares the reality of how she is treated as a woman on a building site.
Autumn Westfall, a project manager in commercial construction as well as a model, from Macomb, Michigan, discusses her bizarre experiences as a woman in a male-dominated industry.
She explained to her 13,100 TikTok followers: “It’s 100% true that pretty privilege does exist and yes it is absolutely rude how when people find you attractive they are generally just nice to you for that reason and that reason only.”

At the dinner I went over to one of the tables and said hello to a supervisor who dropped his jaw in exclamation saying he didn’t recognize me...and the guy next to him said...we were just wondering who the babe was from NY City! HAHAHA! It was a lot of fun. They truly didn’t recognize me.
I I have to say the same thing happened when I went to my class reunion in my early 30’s for the first time.....guys who would not have given me the time of day in high school ...well as one gal said...”You could swab the floor from the slobbering mouths”.
The neat thing about all of it was I never saw myself as attractive, rather I did the best I knew how with what I got and that was it. Still don’t but I think it’s to my advantage as I’m ‘real’ when meeting people.

Maybe lose the cleavage and put your hair up in a scrunchy. You can’t help how you look but you don’t have to put a spotlight on it.
I guess she gets tired of hearing the word “yowzah!”. My wife and I used to watch a show on HGTV in which a crew built all kinds of impressive backyard decks. One member of the crew was easily as stunning and curvy as the gal in the story.

She’s a shoe in for the calendar, a bikini and a hard hat and maybe a tool belt while straddling a saw horse ought to do it. I’m thinking July?
looks pretty serious to me. i would take her seriously. seriously.
