Cholinergic drugs are often used in the treatment of Alzheimer disease. These drugs will also increase GI motility which will result in diarrhea and farts. I suspect they juice up Joe with these drugs and in particular before public events.
Why does Joe Biden hide most of the time from the public? The answer is simple. He is extremely mentally compromised. Another symptom of Alzheimer disease is to lash out in anger. Joe does this constantly. Joe’s basic personality is that of an angry man. In the past before the onset of this disease he could keep his anger under control. Due to his disease process he no longer has this ability. His short term memory is terrible. His anger control is non existent. He believes the fables he has spun about his past. It is real to him as his cognitive abilities can no longer distinguish reality from his past lies.
