True.

I want to like the electric blazer but I can’t.

One day maybe I will get the long languishing one I have operational.

Looks like a cleaned up version of Mr. Honey’s from Green Acres.

Ignore the commentor not the comment. LOL! No affront to you. Just the absurdity of this entire EV scam. “A windmill in every yard, a solar panel on every rooftop!” Guess all that stuff just appears and is made from magical unobtanuim processed from unicorn scat.

Being frustrated with Opel CIH engines I am converting my 1970 GT to an electric motor setup when the weather turns. (You cant get me in the garage when it is cold out). Which raises the question, why not pick up an old F150, but it and put in 10k worth of motor and batteries? The world is full of rust free truck carcasses that just need a powertrain. And since you are using a 0 dollar value VIN # you will save 10,000 at least in a few years just on not paying sales tax and annual property taxes.

Still light years better than the Tesla mistake.

No doubt. In some places it could be a good idea. For the grid? Not so much. How many acres in the Okachobee area has FPL decided to destroy? Any? Or is it Duke Energy now. It was still FPL when we left.

Thanks. On the pie chart I didn’t see any wind power mentioned. LOL! Ocean breezes not good enough? Or concerns for lightening strikes blowin’ ‘em up real good.

The problem is, IMO, a lot of the charm and good looks of the old cars came from the heavier steels and other metals used.

You can try but ya just can't replicate that with today's materials. Everytime I see one of these retro cars, I say, "looks OK but it looks like it's going to look like crap in 3 years".

Which, as we know, is the exact opposite of the old cars.

In my dysfunctional world, the Opel GT was known as the “teenybopper Corvette”.

I wouldn’t think that would be much of a hit. People who want to buy a “green” truck probably want it to look new and high-tech, not like their media declared racist grandfather’s truck.

Of course, I didn’t think cell phones would have much of a market beyond a relatively few bigwigs.

But now it’s, “Oh hello. I just got out of the movie and cut a big fart. I’m walking to the car now. I’ll call you back when I get there”.
