Honestly, if I was buying and this was in the showroom I’d be all over it, even with the aerodynamics of a brick. I don’t drive far and would keep my Super duty for work and serious hauling, but for a daily driver I’d love to have one.

Generators are finicky things. They often don’t get run enough to be reliable.

I’d like to see late model modern vehicles converted to old time specs. No electronics, no airbags, crank windows etc.

Retro, you say? How about something that really sheds the weight, and comes in any color you'd like (as long as it's black)...

That was the worst year for a Ford design. How many do you see on the road today? None.

What would be cool is a Ranger/Mercury style pickup with a V-8.

Saw a real one of those yesterday. People are resurrecting them from the junkyard because they don’t use computer chips.

To this day I think that’s the most beautiful of all car designs.
That ‘87 pickup shape doesn’t look very aerodynamic.

I kind of like the The look of late 70’s early 80’s F150’s.

Powered by wind or solar, right?
Wouldn’t want to use dirty old coal from coal-fired plants to charge these new cars, right?

Thanks for exactly reflecting my own thoughts. The whole industry is out of its collective mind.
