This woman points to her multiple science degrees but she is easily the opposite of scientific. There is no science that says get your healthy teen a vaccine against a disease that is virtually harmless. This is not a comparison between the vaxxed and unwanted but between those who have had covid and those who have not.
Moreover, “the 16 times more likely” applies to the general population. The article you linked goes on to explain that the risk of myocarditis is “by age, risk ratios ranged from approximately 7.0 for patients aged 16–39 years to >30.0 for patients aged <16 years or ≥75 years.”
Thus, the risk of someone’s getting myocarditis is only 7 times higher for young people who get covid than for those who do not get covid.
This says nothing about the risk of a young person’s getting myocarditis as a result of getting the vaccine.
I do not have time to spend trying to tease out the numbers to get an appropriate number, so all I can say is that your article does not show what you want it to.
Suddenly having to pay $1000s in medical bills is a hardship for most families.
If the vaccines are mandated, whoever mandates them should have to pay for the results.
How about the rates of myocarditis caused by other viruses compared to the Covid virus?
It is established that the vax can cause myocarditis in otherwise healthy people. Therefore it is an added risk, especially for young people.

Reportedly myocarditis has only a 50% 5-year survival rate, however, so perhaps a little more emphasis on the damage to her son’s health and survival prospects and a little less on the hit to her pocketbook might be in order.
