An October survey conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) found that 37% of unvaccinated adult participants say they would leave their job if forced to either get a COVID-19 vaccine or take a weekly test. And if their employer mandated the vaccine and didn’t offer the testing option, 72% of unvaccinated workers say they would quit.
The percentage of unvaccinated adult participants who say they would quit if vaccines were a requirement equates to roughly 9% of all adults, according to KFF, a nonprofit focusing on national health issues.

"About a fifth (21%) of workers say that they want their employer to require vaccinations even though they don’t, while about half (51%) say they don’t want their employer to require it," according to KFF’s findings.
When unvaccinated workers were asked what they would do if their employer required them to either get the COVID-19 vaccine or undergo weekly testing, 11% said they would be most likely to get the vaccine, nearly half (46%) would opt for the weekly testing and over a third (37%) said they would be likely to leave their job.
"This represents 1% of all adults who would get the vaccine if faced with an employer mandate and 5% who say they would leave their job," the organization said.
"If their employer did not offer an option for weekly testing, the share of unvaccinated workers who say they would get the vaccine increases to 17% (2% of all adults) and the share saying they would leave their job increases to 72% (9% of all adults)," it added.

The three people I know that got CoVid over the summer were all vaccinated and my unvaccinated friends and relatives are still CoVid free.
Anyone know if health systems are regularly testing vaxxed employees?
And has anyone seen any data on nosocomial CoupFlu infections?
If hospitals aren’t testing vaxxed employees and nosocomial CoupFlu infections are an issue, hospitals will make residential care cases look like s tempest in a teacup...

A meta-analysis of Covid studies, published by Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in December 2020, found that asymptomatic carriers had a less than 1% chance of infecting people within their household. Another study, done on influenza in 2009, found:

...and it was fellow at my place of work (a great guy, actually) who had been vaccinated (four months prior, young, apparently excellent health), felt a little cruddy one day, came to work, and ended up shared the bug with a number of others at a company party. Led to our organization having to respond to a defined “outbreak”, which was more than a little disruptive and unsettling to those others (also vaccinated!) who contracted the ‘rona. Incredibly, despite this direct personal experience, the un-vaccinated on our team are generally being scapegoated by some as directed by our President and the rest of the Media.

The tests are bogus anyway, why not just encouraged those feeling ill to stay home?

Publicly, we have known for at least two months that the vaxxed are a potential risk to everyone.
But, the NFL and most other employers ONLY test the un-vaxxed.
I think the bigger concern with the tests is the risk of having one's mucus membrane punctured by someone inserting the cotton swab in the nose.
For this reason alone, one could make a valid argument against testing as a condition of employment.

Most health systems didn’t require testing at all before summer 2021.
Then the vaxx mandates sprang up. Then, only the unvaxxed (exempted) were required to be tested.
so what’s the rationale for mandates if vaccinated people can spread it just as easily?

I’m facing this. Waiting it out.
I already wrote back the president prior, who mercifully retired just after announcing this edict, that I do not want a test or vax. No weekly testing. Absurd, and I don’t know what that could do to our mucosal lining (if I can’t get the spit test). Never mind it’s just far too much hassle. Never mind really why is it their business?
I have put the questions to the new president and alleged “safety commission” of how they are going to handle it. What exactly does all this entail? Still no answer about logistics and we only have a month.
