SNIP
A new study out Tuesday reports that far too often, small amounts of industrial chemicals called phthalates (pronounced THA-lates), which are used to make plastics soft, have been found in samples of food from popular outlets including McDonald's, Pizza Hut and Chipotle.
George Washington University researcher Lariah Edwards, professor Ami Zota and their colleagues purchased 64 fast-food items from national burger chains McDonald's and Burger King; pizza chains Pizza Hut and Domino's; and Tex-Mex chains Taco Bell and Chipotle, all around San Antonio, Texas.
The study found harmful chemicals in a majority of samples collected. Phthalates are linked to health problems, including disruption to the endocrine system, and fertility and reproductive problems, as well as increased risk for learning, attention and behavioral disorders in children.

Don’t leftists want us sterile? What’s the problem? /s
these gender bending chemicals have been found everywhere on earth.
Detectable levels are in everything pretty much, Including you
Everything in moderation.
“Some”? Shoot, for my money ALL of them contain something bad for me. Give me mom-and-pop, homemade places anytime!
Don't remember the last time I stopped in any of those places.
Used to have the habit of picking up a fast food breakfast sandwich on the way into work...not every day but couple times a week until I was diagnosed with an LAD blockage and ended up with a stent in 2016. I’m not saying that was the only thing that did it but after my heart work I never set food in a fast food joint again.
Basically, if there is a drive thru then it’s best to drive by. If they are publicly traded then they are humanity unconcerned.
Don’t eat any of that CRAP except sometimes on the road when nothing else:-(
And if you eat 73 pizzas a week, this will have an effect on your health.
Like duh! These leftards still wont stop. Even if the triple burger says 1000 calories, I’ll still eat it.
“including McDonald’s, Pizza Hut and Chipotle”
Me neither. The last ones I did were In N Out and Tommy’s. Yeah, the “chemicals” will kill me tomorrow s/
“And if you eat 73 pizzas a week,”
pizza slices or whole pizzas? s/ Back in high school, I ate 3 full pizzas or 24 slices more than a few times. I was on the basketball and football team and thought my appetite was crazy. Until I read Michael Phelps chows down 4 full pizzas due to his high burn of calories.
“3 full pizzas or 24 slices more than a few times.”
I have trouble eating 8 slices so ask for my pies to be cut into 6 slices.
What’s the concentration? With the ability to detect chemicals in parts per trillion it gets to the point where if the metal serving tray was wrapped in plastic when it was shipped to the restaurant, your burrito meat might pick up a detectable amount.
I have 5 heart stents, called a “full metal jacket”. Heh.
I eat a filet o fish from McDonalds and it is nap time soon after!
I never realized that Taco Bell was “Tex-Mex.”
It is not. Taco Bell serves the indigenous cuisine of Southern California.
“I have trouble eating 8 slices so ask for my pies to be cut into 6 slices.”
I can’t take 6 slices.
I have mine cut into 4 slices.
Just right.
