Beloved young relative has covid. There is no Regeneron in the state. Offered Sotromab. Feedback?
Never heard of it.
Never heard of it.
What State are you in?
Monoclonal antibody. How bad are the symptoms?
You’ve never heard of it because it’s also investigational. It’s a new era in medicine.
Will pray for your relative. Please keep us updated.
I used alka seltzer cold medicine. Got through it just fine.
Ivermectin
Does he have a lot of co-morbidities? In hospital?
I say good for them. They will get their immunity the old fashioned way.
My family had the Commie Crud last Christmas Day the days following. It wasn’t that bad. I was sick for a about five days, both my kids (13 and 15) were sick for about 4 days. I have been sicker from pneumonia then I ever had from this, and there were no “vaccines” available at that time.
If they have no other “co-morbidities” then they will be fine in a week. It’s 99.7% survivable for youngsters
We didn’t get the infusion of monoclonal antibodies, but four injections of monoclonal. (I got 2 in the stomach and 1 in each arm. Hubby got 4 in the stomach.) I don’t know if the shots are the Regeneron brand or called something else. Maybe ask about the shots? They’re supposed to work exactly the same as infusion.
Sotrovimab?
Should be as good as Regeneron. One thing.
How young and how sick?
assuming he is at risk, or has it bad, ivermectin is what I would give.
“Offered Sotromab”.
Take it. Take it with confidence.
It’s a MAB. A Monoclonal Antibody treatment. Via an IV infusion.
I had a similar MAB infusion back in March when I had a moderate case of covid. It will work. Almost immediately.
Beloved young relative will be glad to take this.
Healthy young people are at very low risk.
Any underlying conditions?
I personally know about 12 people that have had it, 30-60 years old.
Most were mild.
None needed hospitalization.
All were told "Go home and come back if you can't breathe".
Nothing else was offered.
In the stomach? Ouch!
Glad you are better, MM!
Low Risk Patients
Young healthy people do not need prophylaxis against Covid 19.In young and healthy people, this infection causes mild cold-like symptoms. It is advantageous for these patients to be exposed to Covid-19, build up their antibodies and have their immune system clear the virus. This will facilitate the development of herd immunity and help prevent future Covid-19 pandemics. However, if these patients desire prophylaxis against Covid-19, then they should take the protocol noted below.
Moderate Risk Patients
Patients from this category are healthy but have high viral-load exposure. This group includes medical personnel, caregivers of high-risk patients, people who use public transportation or may otherwise be exposed, first responders and other essential personnel who are crucial to the continued functioning of society. These patients should be encouraged to take prophylaxis against Covid-19 in accordance with the protocol noted below.
High Risk Patients
Patients are considered high risk if they are over the age of 60, or if they are younger than 60 but they have comorbidities, that is, they have other health conditions that put them at risk. These patients have between a 5 to 10% mortality rate if they are infected with Covid-19. These patients should be strongly encouraged to take prophylaxis against Covid-19 in accordance with the protocol noted below.
Protocol for Low and Moderate Risk Patients
Elemental Zinc 25mg one a day Vitamin C 1000mg once a day: (see also)
Quercetin 500mg (OTC) once a day If Quercetin is unavailable, then use Epigallocatechin-gallate (EGCG) 400mg (OTC) once a day: (see also)
Protocol for High Risk Patients
Elemental Zinc 25mg one a day Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) 200mg once a day for 5 days, then once a week: (see also)
If HCQ is not available, then use Low and Moderate risk protocol
Quercetin, Zinc, Vitamin D and Vitamin C.
All over-the-counter choices. Quercetin available on Amazon.
More seriously:
Quercetin 600mg (opens the cell walls)
Zinc 50mg (enters through the openings, and jams viral replication)
N-Acetal Cystine (600 mg improves lung & liver function)
Beta Carotine 1000 mg (converts to Vitamin A, antiviral)
Aspirin 325 mg (blood thinner, fights clots)
Vitamin D3 (general health, improves mood)
And, of course:
Vitamin C 1000 mg (antiviral, increase dose to bowel tolerance!)
STAY HYDRATED!! See chicken soup above, especially with lemon...
Add OTC meds as indicated, something for cough and congestion (Benedryl), Tagament to jam the ACE-2 binding sites, elderberry, Tylenol, etc.
gleeaikin has the full background and schedule.
