A tragedy occurred on the set of the latest Alec Baldwin movie where the actor reportedly accidentally shot and killed a female cinematographer and injured the director due to a prop gun misfire.
“Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun on a set in New Mexico on Thursday, accidentally killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza,” reported Variety.
The tragic incident reportedly occurred on the Bonanza Creek Ranch set in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where Alec Baldwin was shooting his upcoming Western, Rust. Hutchins, who originally remained unidentified, died after being transported via helicopter to the University of New Mexico Hospital.

He had what he thought was a gun with blanks IMHO and just fired it at them thinking he’d just jangle them.
Did you hear that Michael Jackson died? :-o
Why was he pointing it at her in the first place since she's not in the scene...She got shot in the gut...so it's not like he aimed for a limb...
Did he say "gotcha" as he pulled the trigger?

*boom*
From the 911 call:
“We had two people accidentally shot on a movie set by a prop gun, we need help immediately,” script supervisor Mamie Mitchell told an emergency dispatcher. “We were rehearsing and it went off, and I ran out, we all ran out.”
The dispatcher asked if the gun was loaded with a real bullet.
“I cannot tell you. We have two injuries,” Mitchell replied. “And this (expletive) AD (assistant director Dave Halls ) that yelled at me at lunch, asking about revisions….He’s supposed to check the guns. He’s responsible for what happens on the set.”
That is similar to the the version I’ve seen posted on other threads. He was pissed about having to do another take and shot at the cinematographer thinking he was firing a blank. Involuntary manslaughter or negligent homicide fits for Baldwin.
They can’t cover this up forever; too many witnesses and I’ll bit more than one is consulting an attorney to release their statement to avoid retaliation by Baldwin or his cronies for telling the truth.
...pointed it at someone...

exactly
even if you “think” it is unloaded. also, this was not a “prop gun” in any meaningful sense. it was a real gun, a revolver. (the movie is a western).
I was told *kill*.
Guns generally are not just for injuring people or animals.
I love great humor.
You forgot the following:
I don't watch TV...haven't had one for 37 years.
I don't watch the NFL and don't care and I'll post as such on every related thread.

Baldwin is a TOTAL screw-off.
Whoever put a real bullet in that gun, which was being used to film a movie, was a murderer. It was more stupid and dangerous than even Alec Baldwin to do that.
It could, possibly, have been Alec Baldwin who loaded that gun with a real bullet so that he could murder Halyna in front of a room full of people and make it look like an accident.
But, that would require Alec Baldwin to be an actor.
HollyWeird and TV need to totally eschew the use of gunz in their “product” and cease monitarizing same.
If they are agin’ The 2nd, they need to totally give up their weapons.
