A cynical government lawyer describes trying to circumvent religious objections or override them completely.
That good Catholic, Joe Biden, is troubled by the fact that people are raising religious objections to taking the COVID vaccine. We know this because a leaked White House telephone call lets us listen in as a Department of Justice attorney works with the administration to brainstorm ways to force vaccines on religious people over their faith-based objections. The First Amendment is a dead letter in the Biden White House.
In 1558, when Elizabeth I ascended the English throne, England had seen Catholics and Protestants engaged in deadly fighting for 25 years. Elizabeth wanted none of it. “I would not open windows into men’s souls,” she said, voicing the world’s first expression of religious liberty. By the 18th century, though, Britain had passed a series of laws mandating religious tests barring non-Anglicans from roles in government or academia.
In response, the Founding Fathers ratified the First Amendment, which prohibits the government from requiring religious tests for people to participate in society. “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof....” And thanks to the Fourteenth Amendment, the First Amendment applies to all governments in America, whether federal or state.

Is this a way to identify the disobedient class or do they not want a control group?
Nobody knows the hour or the day, but it sure seems like the season of the anti-Christ is upon us.
The entire planet is pointing and laughing at you and your pathetic spawn, Fraud pedojoe…
I live in a Blue state only because I've been with the same company for 23 years and they pay me a lot of money - without this particular job there is no reason for me to be here.
If (when) they terminate me for non-compliance, my next step is to sell me house/move to a Red state.
This may be God's way of separating me from a sweet cash stream and leaving a Blue state hell-hole.
In any event - DONT TREAD ON ME!

Been saying for a while that all of these religious accommodations are being tracked and cataloged by compliant HR departments, and the day will come when FedGov comes knocking to get copies of that documentation. Subsequently, it will be used to track down dissenters and round them up.
There’s a lot of anger and fear in our country right now. Every day feels like a tipping point, but it’s not coming. I fear that they’re becoming emboldened with each passing day, and these “tipping points” continuously bandied about will never come to pass, allowing all manner of legislative and physical atrocities to begin.
I don’t think this is over. Not by a long shot.
What is happening staggers the imagination, what is yet to come will exceed that.
As Clyburn said when the Covid-19 pandemic started: “This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision,” the South Carolina Democrat allegedly said on a phone call with fellow members of his party last week.
Clyburn is a black Domestic American Enemy.
I'm a boomer. I think my generation had it very soft. Not much war, famine, pestilence, etc. Economic downturns not devastating, no dust bowl, no massive relocations.
Of course there have been large and small personal disasters. Fires, hurricane, death and mayhem on what I suppose is "the usual" scale. But Herod's minions aren't out killing all the first born males.
Having your own government as heavy-handed as ours is, is rattling. Somehow we came to believe the government BS that it was restrained, a force for good, and so on.
The thought I am trying to express is that we shouldn't be staggered - history has all sorts of examples of the way the world really works. I count as a mixed blessing to have lived in soft and easy times - but it is a mixed thing because people have very unrealistic expectation and view of how the world really is.
And yes, this is a garden party compared with what will eventually transpire.
Article VI of the Constitution specifies that “no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”
A nurse could file a federal suit under Amendment XIV, Section 3 to remove Joe Biden for rebelling against Article VI of the Constitution. Courts have enforced Section 1 of Amendment XIV for decades and clearly should be able to enforce Section 3 too.
“Some argued that religious tests did not violate freedom of religious conscience because no one had an obligation or entitlement to hold public office. Office-holding, in other words, was a privilege, not a right. Americans thus allowed minority religions to practice their faith while insisting that government power must be reserved for and could only be trusted to Protestants.”

I am so gonna remember that one.

How do you get “documentation” for a religious exemption? The Bible?
I agree with you. Boomers have lived during the golden age of humanity. It doesn’t get better.
It’s not over. I think they are looking at how far they can go. First time one of their ilk trips, falls, and the autopsy reveals they died not from the fall, but from lead poisoning, they will start to rethink their positions.
Firing SEALS who won’t take the vax is going to end up being one of those critical miscalculations I think.
Until these sorts of things happen: car trouble, lead poisoning, alien abduction of family members, or people simply losing their heads in the middle of making tough decisions, the situation will continue to tip.

With all that gathered, bullet point the findings, then summarize your conclusions in your own narrative, including the phrase “this is my firmly held belief and practice” often your findings. Don’t give the denomination to which you belong, or cite religious leaders of denominations, because if they ever spoke in favor of the vax it will be used against you, denying your claims.
Hope this helps
You’ve got homework =o)
I’ve seen very simple and overly complex submissions for religious accommodations in my organization. A group of likeminded conservatives and libertarians send their requests across to our group, and we’ve been borrowing effective requests. Our organization has been pretty accepting of all but the most absurd requests, but they’re still capturing who is making the requests.
