A student at Oberlin College in Ohio described being "scared" and "angry" after the school announced a work crew would be installing radiators in a "safe space" dormitory for women and trans students, explaining the crew would likely be "cisgender men."
"I was angry, scared, and confused. Why didn’t the College complete the installation over the summer, when the building was empty? Why couldn’t they tell us precisely when the workers would be there? Why were they only notifying us the day before the installation was due to begin?" Oberlin student Peter Fray-Witzer wrote in an op-ed published in the college newspaper on Friday.
The student said he grew concerned because he had not heard of the installation plans before a school email was sent on Oct. 7. He explained that the crew would likely be cisgender men entering Baldwin Cottage, which is home to a "safe space" for "women and transgendered persons."

So apparently, the little snowflake would prefer freezing to death in the winter as it is highly unlikely that his kind would have the skillset necessary to install a radiator.
I don't know whether to laugh or just slap my forehead over this news item.
I thought Oberlin would have crashed and burned 20 years ago, but it seems people still pay money to go there.
Maybe they could sit by them in a corner with warm blankets until the workers are finished.
I’m sure “Its” parents are proud.

Real men don’t hyphenate their names. is he faux married to another man or something?

Snowflake ❄ poofter trash.
hMMM, makes me wanna go there so these woke wimps will get their panties in a twist..
Actually, when I read the headline, I thought they were afraid of radiators. I guess radiators can’t communicate their pronouns, so that could be a problem.

IF ‘cisgender’ now means hetero male, then why can’t the reporters just say some maintenance men shoee up to do some work, and Peter Fray-Witzer fell all to pieces and hyperventilated and nearly passed out from fear apparently? We don’t need ‘NewSpeak’- the ‘OldSpeak’ worked perfectly well
When I was a pup back in college, if men needed to do work in a female dorm, a notice was posted on the bulletin board a day or two in advance and the co-eds were expected to either be gone elsewhere (such as class) or dressed semi-respectably for the men to get the necessary work done.
Serious question - how do these snowflakes even find the resolve to get out of bed each day? They sound like the most miserable people on Earth, afraid (or pretending to be afraid) of their own shadows.
I stopped reading at the hyphenated last name.
No. Cisgender means you identify with your biological sex. A gay man who identifies as a man is also cisgender.
People used to say "I don't feel safe." when someone pointed a gun at them. Now they "don't feel safe" when they hear an opinion with which they disagree.
my money is on he’s a faux he- really an ugly girl taking the easy way out.
How does he know the men did not identify as a woman, did he ask them.
