"Stairway to Heaven, but as if Mark Knopfler had written it. 1:24 video here.
Youtube text:
"I tried to incorporate a lot of Knopfler's playing style. The double stops, the raking, hammer-ons, and the iconic, wild vibrato bends.
Had a lot of fun making the backing track for this. For the drums I looked a little at the beat from 'Once upon a time in the West' by Dire Straits, to get a Dire Straits vibe for the song, instead of copying the beat from the original Stairway to Heaven."

Always loved how Mark Knopfler carved out his own niche with a different playing style - has to be pretty hard to get your "own" sound out of a guitar.
As good as Stevie Ray Vaugn was, he copied Jimi's sound, so even Stevie Ray didn't have his own style.
Pete Townshend, Steve Stills, Alvin Lee, Johnny Winter - they all had their own style, could easily pick them out of a "blind taste test".

SRV borrowed more from Albert King than Hendrix by far.

I prefer the "Stairway to Heaven" solo done by Helen Keller:

Interesting choice for the band which created “Eclipse,” “Comfortably Numb,” “the Great Gig in the Sky,” “Breathe,” “Learning to Fly” and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.”
Some of those are more obviously thematically similar to Stairway than others; some feature a more comparable guitar solo. Most are about whether a quest for Heaven is borne of materialism or spirituality, which is how I’ve always understood Stairway to Heaven (Comfortably Numb is at once the most certain of there being something more, yet the most remote from it:
“When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glipse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look, but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown, the dream has died
I have become comfortably numb.”)
