Right now there are four Mexican gents fixing my carport roof. I am amazed by the work ethic shown by these four men, they don’t chit chat, they don’t stand idle and smoke, they just work. My roof is going to get done today, weeks ahead of schedule by four men who barely speak any English. The jobs were there and they saw an opportunity and I hope they get paid well for their labors.
For the record I’m 60 with health issues and had to hire this job out, I’m not lazy, just grateful there are still hard working men in this country.
I’m responding in kind.
This is a constitutionalist AmericaFirst Social Conservative website and there are folks antithetical to all of it on this thread.
I am proceeding from Free Republic’s definition of such folks.

Bump!
We’re capable of deciding who the trolls are without you’re abusive replies...don’t push it.
You’re..your.
Re: 279 - Didn’t say it was. Pointing out that there’s been some comments by some that of that type.
As I said, I’m proceeding from the definition posted by the moderator.
Is it not considered abusive to post antithetical material on this website?
There are going to be controversial subjects. For instance, when people post pro-abortion articles, FReepers are allowed to key up on them. Where is the list of non-keyuppable subjects like that Qanon stuff?
It’s a dance, isn’t it?...toes get stepped on.
Something recently about rural southern blacks and Deep South county folk sharing so much common culture
From emulating gentry to manners and God fearing
It’s true
My middle TN wife goes to deer camp on bayou Pierre near port Gibson with me in Deep South Mississippi old plantation country ....near Windsor ruins
Her first comment....black people are so nice down here....
Alot to be said for hundreds of years of assimation.
Damn..
Assimination-Assimilation
Former heavy cotton plantation land and fought over big time in Grants lower Mississippi River campaigns
Back then land was cleared for white velvety boll covered rolling hills
Now it's kudzu and hardwoods and great deer and black bear country
Think Uncle Remus country
Charles Evers was a kingmaker in the adjacent southern county Jefferson
I knew Charlie ....we liked we had same proper name...my dad did construction
87% black
Alcorn college ....shares county borders ....my dad and grandpa did a lot of historical restoration there....I still have some of the old rawed iron
The famous iron stairs from Windsor ruins were moved there ....
sunken road near Rodney and deer camp, cannonball in church at Rodney from yankee gunboat when the channel ran about a mile closer to town, Windsor ruins stairs at alcorn chapel, Windsor ruins burned down by cigarette or cigar...a massive place that survived Grant and WTS cause she Gave medical care to Union wounded ...
Like it or not, two party duopolies are the norm in developed countries. The only effective approach is to reform the GOP.
Citizenship is a birth right, but some of us actual maybe 1-3% of the entire nation have paid our country back for that. By the way asshat, for his service that young Jamaican Marine became a US Citizen. He did not bring his PTSD to this country, it was a present from an Iraq IED while he wore the uniform of this country in battle. He was allowed to serve, because too many keyboard warriors are just big ass pussies.
The GOP was borne out of the Whigs, which fell apart over issues similar to what we see the GOPeRINOs falling for.
Just because it’s the norm doesn’t mean that it has to be that way, anyways.
The GOP didn’t reform the Whigs, they replaced them. That’s what the Social Conservative America First Constitutionalists should do.
So only GOP party members are conservatives?
***Uhhh, NO. I didn’t say that. You claim you’re not GOP so you can’t be a RINO, which is fine. But you ARE a CINO and you don’t seem to be able to argue in any fashion other than pick a straw man and knock it down. Straw argumentation, a classic fallacy.
You are a idiot plan and simple.
***Then you should be able to argue effectively against me but you’re having tons of trouble doing it. If you’re dumber than me, that makes you dumber than dumb.
I give you analogies because you are a simpleton.
***I don’t mind analogies, if they apply. But simpletons like you have trouble finding analogies that actually do apply. Because you’re so simple.
But they do have points, ones you obviously cannot comprehend.
***You basically just don’t know how to present your arguments. You should take a critical thinking class, old goat. Learn some new tricks. You need them.
Citizenship is a birth right, but some of us actual maybe 1-3% of the entire nation have paid our country back for that.
***Big, gigantic, So What.
By the way asshat,
***Personal attack. Ad hominem fallacy. You don’t seem capable of using sound reasoning. Take that critical thinking class.
for his service that young Jamaican Marine became a US Citizen.
***Good for him. Who did he displace when he came here illegally?
He did not bring his PTSD to this country, it was a present from an Iraq IED while he wore the uniform of this country in battle.
***So he wasn’t suited for battle. Yet another drain on our system.
He was allowed to serve, because too many keyboard warriors are just big ass pussies.
***That’s horse manure. For more than a decade, recruiters for the armed services have been meeting their quotas/goals just fine. Nothing you say matches up with reality.
The battle to get the GOP to fight for conservative principles has been waged and won several times since WW II. After Jimmy Carter’s election in 1976 against the hapless and uninspiring moderate Gerald Ford, conservatives considered abandoning the GOP In favor of a third party. Compelling practical considerations though ruled that out, and conservatives got Ronald Reagan nominated and elected in 1980 under the GOP banner. With Donald Trump likely to run as the GOP candidate in 2024, it would be foolish to endanger his chances by a third party effort.
It is best not to let dislike of GOP RINOs overwhelm realism and sound strategy. The best approach to keeping the GOP on track is to have a good Republican successor to Trump and an aroused base of activists.
I suspect that certain areas of the Country you may be able to get non-illegal workers, but not everywhere. Those that are legal (under the biden regime that term is very nebulous) would rather stay home, get high and collect welfare. I don't care to support illegals, but with little or NO alternative, I console myself with the thought that they are out working instead of leaching off my tax dollars.
“Congratulations, you are adding to the problem by providing employment for illegal aliens.”
Just for general information I am not the one who originally made that comment. I just copied and pasted it to my reply. I was actually kind of defending you.
