Apophis will still pass by the Earth in 2029 ā specifically on April 13 ā at a distance less than 20,000 miles (32,000 kilometers) from the Earth's surface.
The massive asteroid known as 99942 Apophis was once considered among the most dangerous asteroid in space, with the potential to strike Earth very high. When it was discovered, the 370-meter asteroid's trajectory towards the planet made many fear that an impact could actually happen.
Ultimately, however, this situation now seems unlikely thanks to additional data gathered by astronomers. As such, NASA has declared the planet free of risk from any asteroid impact for the next century.

If it’s not vaxxed it will be denied entry.
Great idea. What could go wrong?
I hope it destroys DC.

Yes ! We can all believe what this political gaggle of diversity says...
"see the outcome" being the operative phrase...
If Iām not mistaken, Preparation H will shrink them.
NASA has declared the planet free of risk from any asteroid... Oh shit! If the Gubmint said that, were screwed.
They need to recalculate ASAP. Stacy Abrams waddling around the country will change the earth’s gravitational field to the point that it could cause a head-on collision with Apophis after all.
I disagree. Artificial intelligence is now being used to find and map the orbits of astroids and comments as we speak, chugging through the massive amounts of data from past observations and new data from space space satellites.
I wouldn't think much because America has safeguards on its nuclear warheads to prevent a nuclear explosion if things go wrong. I also proposed that the asteroid be hit after it passes by Earth so that any risk to Earth be zero from fragmentation of the astroid. If the explosion occurs on the correct side of the asteroid even if it fragments
Life DID start on Mars.
That’s where TBE garden of Eden was.š
I have no problem with Genesis. Who’s to say the Garden of Eden was on this planet. Mars has water. Mars had life. We could have moved from there to here. It would explain a lot.
The data comes from asteroids we have seen. The reality is that there are asteroids that don’t come around for a thousand years. Those are not in our data until they pass again. So they are not in the AI. Also, the AI cannot predict when the result of a rock that hits another similarly sized rock. When things hit Jupiter they stay on Jupiter. But if something were to hit our moon or any other planets moon, and they were within 10 percent of the mass, their would likely be pieces that fly into space. Those pieces will be new to the data as well. Also the comet belt just needs some bumps to cause a horrible chain reaction that will send large rocks flying through new orbits. The data we have are from a vast number of static orbits that we have recorded over the past 200 years. Some even 500 years ago.
