Yes, I don’t suppose they plan on pulling the plug at their churches. The vast majority of Ireland’s electricity generation is from fossil fuels, including a substantial amount from peat, which is even “dirtier” than coal and gas.

By the way, The Church of Ireland is not (as you might assume) Catholic. It's Protestant, as in "Church of England."
Not that the belches coming out of Rome these past several years have sounded much different (may the Good Lord have mercy).
All the anti-fossil fuel people have theirs though.

Having lived there, I know the difference. The town I lived in had the two churches.
“Extraction” - but we are happy to store, transport, refine and sell.
