LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. — The lawyer for Brian Laundrie’s family told The Post on Tuesday that the fugitive flew home to Florida on Aug. 17 — a bombshell claim that throws a wrench in the timeline of the Gabby Petito case.
Laundrie family lawyer Steven Bertolino said Brian returned home for supplies and then flew back to Salt Lake City, Utah, on Aug. 23 to rejoin Petito.
Brian’s brief sojourn home would have come after the couple’s now-infamous fight in Utah that involved cops and before her body was found in a national forest last month.
“Brian flew home to obtain some items and empty and close the storage unit to save money as [he and Petito] contemplated extending the road trip,” Bertolino wrote in a text to The Post.

Yeah, because you can’t buy “supplies” in Salt Lake City. And you can’t ask your parents to clean out your storage bin for you. Gotta do it yourself. What rubbish. Parents are looking more and more like colluders all the time.

If he had any reason to think that his girlfriend was dead, he probably knew right there that he was dead too. Why not take the van, drive home and seek legal help?
But, let's be clear: He probably killed her. But I can see the possibility that he got shoved into a No-Win situation.

Why is this case still making news? Sure, I’ve heard of the “Missing White Woman Syndrome,” but that was for the old (pre-2016) news media. Nowadays it goes against the news format; especially for CNN and MSNBC — they can’t blame it on Trump.
Now it’s “Missing Guy Who Probably Killed White Woman Syndrome.”
If the murdered Gabby hadn't been a YouTuber, it's not unlikely that this would have just been another boy-kills-girl case that would show up on Cold Case Files in a few years.
Brian's a leftie hater, but that's not the only reason I'd like him found. He belongs in prison, probably both his parents do as well.

I’m with you. He probably did it, but I can contain myself until the truth comes out. What bugs me is the mob mentality out there. Too many people want to just grab their pitchforks and let him have it, no trial needed.

Of course not! And it’s so much cheaper to buy an airplane ticket and fly to Florida and back than going to a hardware store where you are. /s

I have no doubt that they helped get to wherever he is. They should be in custody.
New info should come out today. Doctor Phil’s got her parents on today. Once Dc. P gets involved, things come together fast.
I too believe the parents helped BL disappear. He wasn’t a named suspect at the time, so there may not be anything illegal about it, but IMO it does show consciousness of guilt - the parents believe he’s guilty.
Dont they sell supplies in UT ???
If they were trying to save money buying wasteful plane tickets aint the way to do it ...
He had another reason to go home ...
