Krysten Sinema has been a VERY popular topic of late on FR. Lots and lots of us seem to be fawning all over her for this one act of thumbing her nose (seemingly) at her fellow Democrats.
But I guess I think this is just marketing and nothing more.
Just a quick glance at her background on killing unborn children “rights.”
So far she has:
1) Co-sponsored the Women’s Health Protection Act (which does the opposite, of course). The biggest effects of this legislation is to NOT have limitations on procedures and personnel involved in killing an unborn child.
2) She voted against NO taxpayer funding for abortions (she supports taxes paying for abortions)
3) She votes against Pain Capable Child Act which would have protected babies after five months of gestation being terminated.
4) She voted against the Born Alive Act (I mean if a person can’t support offering basic medical aid to a baby who somehow survived being mutilated to death, they’re a monster. This was my biggest problem with Obama and Sinema does not get a pass from Me on this issue.
Still think Sinema is “trending” conservative???
As Senators from Arizona go, compared to her recent forbears Flake and McCain the bar is pretty low for her.
I currently care about her vote on one, and only one, bill.

Yah wish she was consistent, like say, Romney or Collins.
Simena + Machin = 3/4 conservative. But, that is, hopefully, enough to save the country until 2022.

We know Sinema is pro-abortion and we're not exactly supporting or welcoming her with open arms.
We're just enjoying the fact that she and Manchin are thorns to the Dem progressives just like Collins and McCain used to be.
She still supports the $1.2T bill which has nothing to do with infrastructure. Personally, I think the $3.5T is a head fake, sort of a Door-in-the-Face technique. They know it's not going to pass so there'll be a compromise on the $1.2 bill which will lay the groundwork for more social programs and expand the gov't even more.
Troll. Anything to deevee her stance on the fiscal insanity bill(s).
She simply has to stick to her guns not to vote to destroy it.

be careful there bud. you might be throwing out the baby (America that is) with the bathwater.
As long as she and Manchin hold out on getting rid of the filibuster, that’s all I hope for with those two. I don’t expect them to vote for much of anything that I support. But if they simply allow the filibuster to continue until the democrats no longer have control of the senate, I’ll be happy with their performance.
Then we have to get to work pressuring Republicans to do the right things once they regain the majority.
Sinema is pro business and has a twinge of fiscal responsibility. Liberal on almost all other areas.
So you would rather cling to your hate and have them vote with the Biden Demos to spend $5.5 trillion to destroy the USA?
Right now she is 1 of 2 people that stands in the way of this country being perminantly flushed down the toilet. We lose the country and abortion will be the least of your worries, because you’ll be in a concentration camp waiting on your abortion.
Do not be deceived, she is BIG liberal.
But, somehow, she is worried about the deficit and few other things. (maybe)
