The pandemic is leaving its imprint on all of us, but some experts suggest it may be most keenly affecting babies and toddlers.
A new study by researchers at five universities found that babies born during the pandemic may have lower IQ scores than those born before it. Babies who came into the world before the coronavirus had a cognitive score hovering around 100, according to this study. But the test scores of babies born during the pandemic fell sharply, to around 78. That’s 22 points lower than what’s considered normal.

Baby IQs have been getting lower and lower since the 1970s or so, lol. Just look at our “millennials.” Now the baby on the cover of Nirvana’s “Nevermind” is suing what’s left of the band for child abuse. COME ON, PEOPLE!! YOU GOTTA LAUGH!!!

Imagine spending your earliest years locked in a house, never meeting new people, with only the television for company.
It would take a sustained period of focused effort to reverse a 78 IQ. Not even sure how much it could be improved.
Much would still be possible, I suspect, if the Baby is in a stimulating environment, and allowed to take a few healthy risks on their own.
A lot of time may be wasted denying such a child’s progress has actually been set back. Some parents will never admit it. The old accepted term for being ‘set back’ used to be ‘retarded’, but now, a lot of people tend to see that term as a personal insult, vs an objective description.
The pandemic and immigration have destroyed the future of this nation.
Heck, publik skoolz & social media have already done a superb job of reducing the IQs of children. Even my wife’s fave horse show (Heartland) now has a smarmy little repulsive child repeating the standard “we’re ruining the earth” speeches. (She’s even exceeded the idiocy of Lou...)

Stands to reason since their parents’ IQs have fallen.
How much brainpower does it take to be a baby?
Our food supply has been changed...once upon a time, everything was organic, now you have to pay extra for organic stuff. Also, GMO’s are everywhere. You have to pay extra for non-GMO food. I buy my cat lovely non-gmo organic brown rice and chicken crunchies because GMOs are horrible for pets. Her crunchies are not expensive.
When lights went out after a big windstorm in our town, only place I could buy some semblance of food was the drug store a mile away. Bought box of cereal that people feed their kids. So disgustingly sweet I couldn’t eat it. No wonder our kids’ IQs are falling.
Plus, wheat is not what it started out to be. Seeds modified and now it’s horrible for you. Those PBJ sandwiches we were raised on are causing incredible health problems. Two months after I gave up wheat, my LDL dropped 40 points.
Maybe more intelligent parents are putting off having kids?
Babies’ IQ has already started to drop for forty years, just take a look and see how many liberals we have around
