@PeterSchiff
The fact that #Democrats want to force banks to report all transactions as low as $600 to the #IRS is proof that the real targets of their enhanced tax enforcement legislation are not the rich, but lower and middle income taxpayers. This is a classic government bait and switch!
@PeterSchiff
If banks have to bear the added expense of reporting all checks as low as $600, not only does this represent a huge loss of privacy for Americans, empowering future oppression by a tyrannical government, but banks will have to significantly raise fees for small checking accounts!

Schiff is an idiot.
Does this include direct deposits? Would a teller have to monitor the overnight Directs and report them?
The proposal is, if an account has more than $600, total, deposited or withdrawn over the course of a year, the IRS would be notified. In other words $50 per month going in or out puts you on the IRS radar.
I buy everything with credit cards now, everything, even if it’s a pack a gum I’ll use a credit card. And I pay off all the cards every paycheck to first reduce interest and second to keep my bank account as low as possible. I do not trust anything with these domestic enemies in power especially now that they hired 83,000 new IRS agents. I went through absolute hell with the IRS when the Clinton criminal cabal was in power.
Seems it was an orchestrated plan
I agree with Peter, and that’s kind of rare.
Due to election fraud, but that’s right...If Republicans don’t take care of election integrity, the domestic enemies could easily do it again. Can you imagine 7.5 more YEARS of Joe Biden? Theoretically that could happen
can we start with The Big Man’s bank account? and that of his family and all the cronies he’s hired lately? Then can we move on to the hollywood wierdos and see just how many people they pay under the table?
This could be fun
If everyone is on the radar then, in essence, no one is on the radar.
The IRS can’t audit everyone every year no matter how many agents they hire.
So many people, including the author, get this wrong. The bill is not to report on transactions of more than $600, the bill is to report all transactions for accounts that have a balance of $600 or more. ... In other words, all accounts not owned by children.
Because those at the top (lawyers) live very well.??
Sure, people in Venezuala are digging in the dust hoping to find a root to eat. But some people - government people - there still live in palaces and mansions and eat quite well. Sounds like a decent deal if you think your the ones that will get the mansions.
I think there will come a point where they can no longer pretend about his...condition.
I’m not sure what would happen after that, and whether we’d be better or worse off.
All I know for sure right now is that everyone should demand to Vote In Person!, every election.
That is insane. What would the IRS do with that?
That’s like having a weather app on your smart phone that sends you an alert every time the temp. changes one degree up or down.
I agree...
how you spend money is one of the big inputs to the social credit score they’re planning for everyone.
Elections? How quaint.
Id love to see James Biden bank account..we all know the Big Guy’s money went to him for safe keeping
His polls must be horrible for this punk to be concerned about expanding democrats’ power.
LOL!!!!
