I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.

The tests for Coronavirus were very undependable. Many Coronavirus diagnoses were really Parvo that did not show positive on the standard Parvo test. To diagnose Corona one had to submit the sample to the lab and wait weeks before there was confirmation. Back then there was no reliable PCR test for Coronavirus and many of the positives were with non pathogenic strains of the virus.A diagnosis of Corona was a flat out guess with no backing tests and the disease was identical to that of Parvo.

Thank you very much for that insight. In the late 70s maybe 80 81 in North Carolina we had a dog that we had to find a home for because we were being transferred to Guam and they had a lengthy quarantine restriction for incoming pets. So we found a nice home for our dog yet that dog did contract Parvo and she passed away, which we found out several years later.

But this dog in Guam as you clarified and in all probability did have parvo. But he pulled through, lived a to around 14.

However, Moderna announced they've begun human trials for a new mRNA flu shot.

The ultimate difference is the way the instructions are delivered. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines use mRNA technology, and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine uses the more traditional virus-based technology.

The Trump vaccines have no doubt saved many lives. However, they are not always being properly used. They are designed for intramuscular injection, but are sometimes injected into veins. This can result in myocarditis:

So, get your covid-19 vaccine from a medical professional that you know and trust, and make sure that he or she is aware of the danger of an intravenous injection.

Low levels of vitamin D have been associated with an increased likelihood of serious Covid-19 infections (as well as the flu). Vitamin D (in the form processed by the liver) has also been shown to be curative against the Chinese virus. A recent study in a Spanish hospital compared treatment with HCQ vs. HCQ + Vitamin D (Calcifediol form). Patients were randomized to one or the other on admission for Covid-19. The results:

This was a small study, and it should have been replicated by now, but there is no money in Vitamin D. The cost of the calcifediol is about $1,000 to $2,000 per study subject at retail prices. Ordinary vitamin D would only cost about $10, but would not act quickly enough for Covid-19 patients. Calcifediol is produced by the liver from vitamin D, but it takes time. You need a prescription to get calcifediol. Rather than wait to get the Wuflu, it makes more sense to make your own calcifediol by taking 5,000 to 10,000 units of D3 every day, and be protected against other viruses (e.g., the flu) as well.

Thanks! I just had to walk away from the craziness, sensationalism, and drama. Nobody is guaranteed another day of health or life even under normal circumstances. I have come to terms with my own mortality and am at peace with it.
