I haven't posted for several years after my comments were unceremonially erased by moderators. I am a conservative who voted for Trump and hope to vote for Pompeo. So my pedigree is established. I'm afraid that FreeRepublic is becoming a nucleus for some very bad information about covid. I've had several uvaccinated friends die in their 40's from covid. This dangerous possible bioweapon is very dangerous. I am vaccinated and am glad I am. My 101 year old mother in law survived a bout with covid because of her vaccinations. The vaccine is a rough one. I had 2-3 days of side effects leaving some scars on my shoulder. The MRNA vaccines. The vaccine (more like a prophylactic therapeutic ) does not protect you from the disease. It only mitigates symptoms. I'm saying all this to urge conservatives that are in risk categories to get vaccinated. We have already lost at least 2 talk show hosts and Herman Cain to this insidious Wuhan flu. So go ahead and flame me and join the suffering ones from Idaho.
I agree with your point of view. Are the vaccines perfect? Obviously not. Are you better off getting vaccinated? I think so.
As it turns out - the following thing happened to me today. I rarely use a certain messaging app and I just happened to look at it today. There were three unanswered msgs from an old friend. The first message mentioned a canceled foreign trip due to Covid restrictions. The second talked about getting a medical exemption from getting the vaccine.
And the third message? You guessed it - it was about getting Covid and being low sick for like two weeks.
Does this prove anything? Nope.
Would I want to skip getting the vaccine? Nope.

And I have no issues for those taking the vax, I have. My problem is the mandate. Up until the Scandemic individuals were responsible for health choices. People with COPD continued to smoke, diabetics continue to eat donuts. We accepted it as their choice, as it should be. Maybe it wasn’t smart but that is their choice. When the government mandates vaccinations, that is what I oppose. You’re opening the door to who knows what from some disease conjured up by individuals like Falci
The good thing about the booster is it’s not mandated. One idea would be to get two boosters and skip the mandated jabs.
No problem, its what I do. Try to use my knowledge and years of experience as a RN to give truthful information. Nurses are advocates for the patient and the people, not anyone else, they can pound sand. To not do this is the antithesis of nursing and America.
I had no side effects whatsoever. Anyone else I've known that got the vaccine has had only mild side effects.
Your mother will die if she gets Covid.

I think whatever any of us write here is posted to the whole world, regardless of our intentions.
If what Williams wrote was not ‘clear’ to you, why did you automatically condemn and criticize the person, instead of asking for clarification?
Most people reading it would have understood what he/she meant, regardless any failing of strict punctuation or grammar.
The problem is that there are so many people here who are so fervently set upon their own opinions that they don’t really ‘hear’ anybody else; they just find any little space they can to loudly pronounce their own opinions, despite how they embarrass themselves or how they disservice those to whom they respond.
(And it doesn’t take an ‘advanced degree’ to actually pay attention to other people and take a little time to try and figure out what they’re intending to communicate. Human Beings were doing it for many thousands of years before anyone developed the notion of an educational ‘degree’.)
You better hope you mom doesn't get Covid and dies or you'll feel guilty the rest of your life.
She'll likely die in the next year or two with or without COVID. She's more likely to die if she gets the vaccine. She is very fragile, and a shock to her system like that wouldn't be good.
