Lindsey Buckingham Won’t Stop

...“I think others in the band just felt that they were not empowered enough, individually, for whatever their own reasons, to stand up for what was right,” says Buckingham. He pauses for just a second and then plows on. “And so, it became a little bit like Trump and the Republicans.”

Fleetwood has hinted that Buckingham could be welcomed back if Nicks comes around. It’s unlikely that comparing Nicks to Trump will help those chances. ...

Why don’t you ask him if he’s going to stay?
Why don’t you ask him if he’s going away?

Hell with Stevie and Buckingham. Christine McVie was the only real consistent talent in the band.

You cant have Fleetwood Mac now without Stevie

I freely admit I’m probably in the minority on this issue. The public seems to love Nicks. But I’ve always been anti establishment. LOL

She twirls around on stage in a shawl and top hat and sings like a goat...but she is what the public wants.

So ..yes it was an ultimatum

https://www.vulture.com/2021/09/lindsey-buckingham-stevie-nicks-fleetwood-mac-firing.html
In a statement to the L.A. Times — her most significant comment on the firing since 2018 — Nicks confirmed the ultimatum but disputed the rest as “revisionist history.” “To be exceedingly clear, I did not have him fired, I did not ask for him to be fired, I did not demand he be fired,” Nicks said. “Frankly, I fired myself. I proactively removed myself from the band and a situation I considered to be toxic to my wellbeing. I was done. If the band went on without me, so be it.”

Here is how you know there is no Fleetwood Mac without Stevie

“I’m really sorry that I didn’t stand up for you, but I just bought a house.”

Lots of shade is going to be thrown around between Nicks and Lindsey as he promotes his new music

Can’t stand Journey.

What you say is true, however. Think of Van Halen or Genesis.

Mick has a restaurant in Lahaina and he plays there irregularly with a cover band that is both expensive and awful, with the exception of the lead female vocalist (Gretchen Rhodes?) who is great. Fleetwood’s on front street.

In Altiyan Child’s 5-hour expose video, Nix at at the 2-hour mark all but admitting she is a satanist, along with most in Hollywood. It has been reported she is very high up in rank as far as witches in the North American quadrant.

Never liked their music.

It’s not bad per se, but it never worked for me.

Fleetwood Mac was actually a band formed by Peter Green. He wanted Mick Fleetwood and John McVie to join so he named it after them in the hopes that would sway them. It did. "Old" Fleetwood Mac is Peter Green Fleetwood Mac.

"Black Magic Woman" (yes, the Santana song was originally done by Fleetwood Mac), "Green Manalishi", "Oh Well Part 1", "Rattlesnake Shake", "Man of the World" and "Albatross" were early standouts.

Then Green literally lost his mind after an acid party and the band moved on.

IMHO you can’t have Fleetwood without Bob Welch.

Bob Welch isn’t buying Christine McVie’s new house.

“ Can you have Fleetwood Mac without Stevie?”

They were better without her. I despise that “rumors” album.

At this point I care about as much as I care about Herman’s Hermits. Which is to say not very much. Play. Don’t play. I really couldn’t care less.
