When military leadership loses the respect of the troops….

Even worse than a coup....

We are in a serious crisis, one that the corporate media are loath to even hint at. The reason is obvious: responsibility lies in the hands of President Biden and his leadership team. Professor Glenn Reynolds, aka, the Instapundit, is unafraid to face the reality, and writes about in the New York Post:

Our military’s civilian leadership is corrupt and incompetent. The brass commands respect neither among the citizenry nor the forces it commands. Mid-level officers are in a rage — a dangerous phenomenon that in many other nations triggers insurrections and coups. (snip)

Meanwhile, the officers who actually do things are furious. A series of encrypted messages leaked to the media shows officers on the ground in Kabul blasting their orders, complaining that they were being forced to leave Americans behind. “We are f–king abandoning American citizens,” wrote a colonel with the 82d Airborne detachment there. Regular troops were reportedly apoplectic that they weren’t allowed to go rescue US citizens, as British and French forces did.

I won’t be surprised if tragic accidents start happening.

Trust me, there are several where I work that are furious with these two, but at the same time, they don’t to risk a court martial. They are being put in a very difficult position needlessly because of those two buffoons.

well, if it makes them feel any better, a spin on it is, the Brits and Frenchies would never have been able to hold the base by themselves. And it’s because the Americans could, that the europeans were even able to do their rambo thing

In previous wars, for those “called by Congress an officer and a gentleman”, if they made angry the wrong person, an occasional hand grenade minus the lockpin, found its way into that officer’s lodging.

The age-old duty of The Praetorian Guard still survives today.

At some point, a bunch of you are going to have to stand up as the Marine Colonel did and take what comes. Else, you will be in the position of ‘just following orders’ as you round up and shoot US citizens in their beds.

Remember this is only the start of Biden’s term. What unmitigated disasters will he create in the next 6 months? In the following years? At what point is enough enough?

Patience. There is going to be a correction. Nuremberg style trials are coming.

They and their accomplices in the media (CNN, MSNBC, etc.) are gong to be hanged. Not a single one of them will escape justice.

The atrocities in Afghanistan will pale to what is going to happen here. Joseph Goebbels commuted suicide for far less.

in a show of insecurity, the Capitol was ringed by 25,000 troops, several times as many as were sent to rescue Americans from Kabul. Banana republic stuff.

Says a lot.

Mixed emotions about your post.
Amused at what you actually *believe* is coming....
Sad, because if it *does* come about, I won’t be here to see it.

You mean like when 20+ SEALs were killed in Afghanistan when their helicopter was shot down, only a few months after the SEALs ‘got’ OBL? They were supposed to be on a couple of different copters, but their orders changed and ‘apparently’ that order was likely leaked by someone in our hierarchy.

Liberals are mentally deficient. Some iteration of mass sociopathic psychosis.

And we have given them reign over our most important institutions for the last fifty years. That's a half century!

Public schools. Mainstream (pseudo) Christian religions. The entire entertainment complex. All branches of govt, etc.

And now we're alarmed? Shame on all who allowed this to happen. Shame on them.

“I’d add the sworn oath to the Constitution that all military members take, even if their high command is less trustworthy.”

Is that sworn oath one of loyalty to country or blind obedience to traitors and fools?
