MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — Healthy and in their 30s, Christina and Josh Tidmore figured they were low-risk for COVID-19. With conflicting viewpoints about whether to get vaccinated against the virus filling their social media feeds and social circles, they decided to wait.
On July 20, Josh came home from work with a slight cough initially thought to be sinus trouble. On Aug. 11, he died of COVID-19 at a north Alabama hospital as Christina Tidmore witnessed a doctor and her team frantically try to resuscitate her husband.
“She would say, ’I need a pulse. ’I would hear, ‘no pulse,’ “Christina Tidmore said through tears. “They were trying so hard.”
“Nobody should go through this. He was only 36 and I’m 35 and we have three kids.”
She is now imploring young adults not to dismiss the risk and to consider getting vaccinated.
“Josh was completely healthy, active, not a smoker.” He would have turned 37 on Saturday.

That’s a nasty little accusation, based on your own hyperbolic assumptions. I’ll give it the same credence I gave all of the “flat-earther” comments.
That’s also rich coming from someone who seems to be frequently whining about anybody who disagrees with him. LOL
I am sorry to hear. May he RIP.
It would, yes.
Nailed you Mr “Fear Porn”.
I haven’t lied to you - you are a liar for calling me one.
And for you to even start speaking about the gentleness and the fruits of the spirit - LOL!
One of these days soon, this vaccine is going to forced at the point of a gun on everybody in this society.
I already know what side you stand on.
It’s not freedom, it’s not choice, but it is on the side of totalitarianism.
Hopefully you’ll wise up at the risk of losing your license, home, and everything else to come back to truth.
Once again you don’t mention the fact that you have to be over 65 with significant risk factors to even qualify for monoclonals. This was confirmed by my doctor. He would not prescribe it for me or my husband. His suggestion to us would be to take Vitamin C, Vitamin D, zinc, aspirin and call him if we can’t breathe.
So I have ivermectin on hand, and DH is taking it prophylactically because he is around a lot of people daily.
And since your next response is usually you haven’t found it effective, here are 63 studies, all but 2 say otherwise. https://ivmmeta.com/
I am not the hypocrite. Check again. I am not the one who posts faith comments and then arrogantly calls people liars and other accusations. So please don’t even try.
#LeaveAmericansAlone
I appreciate your rational reply.
It’s not an accusation. You in fact called me decisive. I simply said your side. Not sure what you want me to say. Don’t call a name. Didn’t point a finger.
I am starting to believe that it is those who are becoming more hyperbolic who are afraid as their argument against vaccination and in some
Cases against monoclonal are crumbling.
I share news articles for adults interested in discussing what is happening in our time.
Your “desperate need to be proven right” is weird and tells more about you than me.
So stop with the ongoing arrogance.

How about after 23 years you finally donate 1 dollar here bagboy.
Fauci played Trump like a fiddle.
A lot of the general public walk around with issues that they have no clue about until found because of a scan for something else or autopsy.
The frightening thing I have seen is that radiologists don’t always put everything in there..and they miss stuff as well. The Drs tend to just go by the report so when it isnt mentioned they have no clue.
It’s exasperating to deal with.
GIven that so much is unknown about COVID it is a true crapshoot right now
The best I can do is put a plan in place to immediately get the infusion or the shot if I can’t get in to get the infusion because I am not getting this vaccine. I am going to get the shingles shot. Maybe it will kickstart my immune system.
Three weeks without doing anything about it? dumb
Oh, I'll try.
You ragged on somebody for not being 'gentle' while you are the most ungentle, arrogant, dismissive, rude doctor I've ever seen in action.
We call that hypocrisy where I come from.
If your bedside manner is anything like your internet manner, I feel bad for your patients.
Work on it.
(and I say this because I like you)
“Do not waste time with ivermectin. Get monoclonal”
Agree, if I get sick.
Oh I’m not scared at all, I was being sarcastic with the OP who clearly buys into the fear.
Friend of mine did die recently with the ventilator and remdesivir treatment. Apparently his lungs flooded - it was pretty bad.
