I stayed longer than I should have for those reasons too. It was hard to sever the ties especially since I was an admin on a page. I tried to only stay for the ‘pages’, my cancer, art, etc . I was fooling myself. It pulls you in to everything else. So, I did what I had to do.

Went through a banning about 9 months ago and quit most of FB. Its a joke.

I've been able to find and reunite with Army buddies and Highschool classmates from 50+ years ago on FB!
I also admin Jim Rob's FR page there that he set-up as a go-to page in the event of another D-DOS attack or other problems that shuts down the motherboard here that we see from time to time.
FR FB is 13K members strong and we discuss the same issues as on the motherboard.
Do we get flak from the Zuck-bots? Sure we do but we persevere and have fun.

The new low for me with Facebook was when they “fact checked” a prayer request for Afghanistan.....
Never had any social media accounts. Never saw the point, even long before they started censoring. Always saw such sites as mindless entertainment for middle school girls.
