I think it’s safe to presume he was vaccinated.
Must mean the Healthcare system needs even more government red tape and perverse incentives to fix it. Three billionth times the charm....
These numbers are for a whole state. Doesn’t make sense.
One really cannot depend upon the medical system these days. It has become hopelessly corrupt. Find yourself a supply of ivermectin, vit D, Vit C, zinc etc. Since most doctors won’t treat this virus at all until you’re on the brink of death, prepare yourself.
Well, that seems like general incompetence on the part of the state.
It’s like that over much of the PNW right now. All three hospitals in my town have all ICU beds subscribed. To make it worse no hospital within 500 miles can be found to accept diverted covid patients.
By comparison there are just over 300 ICU beds in my city of less than 200,000.
Once Xiden mandates vaxxes for Nursing home workers the quit rate will be even hire and the whole healthcare system will collapse NOT because of "covid". Newsweak is full of sh!!! There are entire floors being run bare minimum with travel staff. I know. Don't buy this stupid BS.
If he was vaccinated, I am sure his death was less severe.
Seriously tho...RIP. Sorry it ended this way.
It’s probably due to the Lambdo variant. The government doesn’t mention because it is From South America.
The MSM also doesn’t want you to know, that this is happening in democratic run states. They want you to think it is just Texas and Florida.
The ED is just as capable of running a patient on a ventilator, as the ICU.
While waiting probably put on a ventilator. “WE FOUND THE MURDER WEAPON SARGE...”
What a train wreck!
Are they only using ventilators and hoping for recovery?
I just checked Oregon’s daily data.
There are more patients in ICU right now with suspected CoupFlu than have tested positive for CoupFlu. Not that the latter means much.
This story is BS.
GUTTER ‘JOURNALISM’
“The state only has 41 ICU beds and 310 non-ICU beds available for patients”
What the hell does that mean?
1. Does it mean they ONLY have 41 ICU beds total?
2. Does it mean that they may have more than 41 ICU beds, but only enough staff to manage 41 ICU beds?
3. Does it mean they have far more than 41 ICU beds, but only 41 are presently ‘open’ (not occupied) at the given moment in time?
My guess is #3. And if that’s the case, just how many are normally available to patients where there isn’t a pandemic? 41 wouldn’t surprise me. Here’s an article from March 2019, long before the pandemic:
Does Oregon have a plan to extract Americans trapped in Afghanistan?
I’m so old I remember “two weeks to flatten the curve” to allow hospitals to ramp up and prepare for a large number of Covid-19 patients. The two weeks was to allow them to put in place contingency plans should they be over-run with patients. Apparently, the committee in charge of those plans is still debating which coffee shop to order their coffee and donuts from.
Oregon population as of 2020....4,300,000
Number of ICU beds in the state....41
...you do the math
Covid shmovid.
