Returning from a weeklong vacation Monday, CNN host Chris Cuomo talked publicly for the first time about the resignation of his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, saying he urged the governor to step down.
Cuomo took last week off as scrutiny intensified over how he advised his brother when the governor first faced the sexual harassment allegations that forced him out of office.
He addressed the matter along with the growing criticism over how he dealt with the governor on his program as he went from early hero of the COVID-19 pandemic to another disgraced politician caught in a sexual harassment scandal.
"It's never easy being in this business and coming from a political family especially now," Cuomo told viewers. "This situation is unlike anything I could have imagined. And yet I know what matters at work and at home. Everyone knows you support your family. I know and appreciate that you get that. But you should also know I never covered my brother's troubles because I obviously have a conflict."

Cuomo said he "never attacked nor encouraged anyone to attack any woman who came forward" to accuse his brother of sexual harassment. He said his advice was "own what you did, tell people what you'll do to be better, be contrite, and finally accept that it doesn't matter what you intended. What matters is how your actions and words were perceived."
Cuomo added that "when the time came" he urged his brother to resign. The governor announced on Aug. 10 that he will be leave office on Aug. 24.

Rmember, Fauci called Chris every day when Chris had Covid and I believe this will fit the time frame of the numbers conspiracy.
He really needed his brother to tell him to resign. BS...Andy just doesn’t want everything else to come out.

Credo has been caught lying to his audience on more than one occassion
There’s a rumor going round that Cuomo is not leaving after all, and the reason they were so hasty in dropping the impeachment is that the pols know he’s going to stick around and they didn’t want to face his wrath.
He’s never submitted an official letter, he also didn’t announce exactly when he was leaving - first it was a few days and now it’s two or three weeks, and he’s still making decisions and functioning as governor. He’s simply going to wait it out. People say that now that Afghanistan has emerged as a distraction and has completely erased any prestige Biden may have had in the minds of Dems (Biden had said Cuomo should resign), Cuomo feels no pressure to actually leave and will probably just stay in place.

Fredo didn't mind the access to the gubbernor, but he hates the accountability that is coming his way now.
I knew {and did business with} Mario The Pious, and he was a decent man.
He was a demonRAT politician, so decency only goes so far, but compared to his sperm donations, he was a giant of a man.
If the old man were still alive, he'd probably have randy andy shot {but they would would have a grand, mafia style, funeral}.
Remember last year Fredo was caught out in public by a mountain biker when Fredo was supposed to have been in quarantine for Covid. Fredo then staged his ‘emergence’ from quarantine for CNN, even though already caught violating quarantine. The Quomo brothers are seasoned liars.
Why is he working?
Somebody needs to make him an offer he can’t refuse.
