The outcome of next month's California gubernatorial recall election will be "a matter of life and death" amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, according to an ad Governor Gavin Newsom's campaign released Monday.
The ad contrasted Newsom's approach to implementing vaccine requirements with that of his top Republican challenger, the conservative radio host Larry Elder.
As numbers of new virus infections rose in California with the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant, Newsom announced a vaccine mandate for health care workers and last week implemented a similar mandate for teachers and school staff as children began returning to their classrooms for in-person instruction. While Newsom's Stop the Republican Recall campaign said in the ad the Democrat was "protecting California," it said Elder was encouraging "deadly" conspiracy theories.
"What's at stake in the September 14 recall? It's a matter of life and death," a narrator says at the beginning of the 30-second ad.
The ad later shows Elder posing with former President Donald Trump for a photo in which both men are seen giving a thumbs-up. It also displays a screenshot of an August 10 tweet in which Elder said California will have no mask or vaccine mandates if he is elected to replace Newsom.

Oh, life and death, so this means he is going to allow pharmacies to fill scripts for HCQ and Ivermectin because everyone knows masks, the current vaccines, and lockdowns don’t work. Masks actually make people sick rather than preventing it.

Also they have throughly terrified the leftists who statistically are far less stable anyway. They are literally afraid of dying. They are not focused on Newsom’s retention.
And finally many moderate and decline to states lost their jobs, didn’t get their unemployment, can’t collect rent, and couldn’t send their kids to school. They are mad enough to not help Newsom out. All we need them to do is avoid voting.
Newsom’ hypocrisy and no bid contracts have made an impact on some. He is disliked. Some have lost homes, businesses and loved ones in these mostly preventable wildfires.
His insane policies have hurt a lot of his base. Some have noticed.
We may pull this off.

I thin Newsom’s as is absolutly right, because if he wins, it provethe left can still rig an election. I fully expect them to pull it off and keep Newson in power. Newsom is still one of their stars and They cannot afford to lose California. Especially lose to a Black Christian Conservative Trump supporting MAGA candidate.
I fully expect them to pull out all stops between now and the election. Sept 14. is that correct? Watch the ads and especially the ‘news’ stories on their media arm. It is going to be brutal for Elder & his family.

Just like the quote from another San Francisco democRAT “If we don’t win, we don’t eat.” The idea of getting a real job and working saving money is abhorrent, anathema to these creepozoids.
No downside were Newsom to do himself in.

This smells like his private internal polls show him going down - let’s hope so.
