My family says that I am “Selfish” for not getting the vaccine.
When someone calls you selfish they are your enemy—forever.
You own your body.

Had it out with my neighbor yesterday, he’s vaxxed and believes if people like me were vaxxed their would be no delta strain. I told him there’s no proof of that and said once the border is closed i’ll considered getting the “vaccine.”
He didn’t call me selfish but then again I’m almost twice his size.

One sister got the jab because her partner is older with several health issues. My other sister is rabidly anti-jab and was so relieved when I told her I wasn’t getting it she nearly cried.
Mom got the jab but she’s nuts anyway. We don’t discuss it in front of her.

What exactly is their problem? They are vaccinated so they must believe they are protected. How could you possibly be a threat to them in that scenario? If they are vaccinated and they do not believe they are protected, how would you joining them make any difference whatsoever?

your family is selfish. how dare they deign to ridicule you for NOT getting one when you could easily, and with facts, ridicule THEM for getting it.
Its selfish to demand someone take a risk against their own conscience.
Explain how anyone else has a moral claim on you to endanger your health. No one else does.
Will they promise in writing in a notarized document to take care of you the rest of your life if you are permanently injured? Will they promise to take care of your family financially for the rest of their lives, in a notarized legal contract document, if you die?
Tell them they are selfish if they refuse. Tell them you can get a notary over and pull out the documents. See how they enjoy that.
Every experimental human trials on a drug needs a control subject.

Aren’t they selfish for taking a vaccine that could go to a more needy person in greater peril of dying from Covid-19.
Just for their own comfort and safety.
Just tell them that you are part of the ‘control’ and that they are the ‘experiment’.
