Missing Rush - so much news this weekend

Its been a bad two years. Mom Died, Rush Died, Trump lost and my great kitty died.

I agree 100%. I will add, Tucker Carlson has done some real investigative journalism lately. I know he’s on Fox but the show is good. As for talk radio, I rarely listen anymore other than Glenn Beck.

Worth repeating. People might hate me saying this, but the person who closest is Greg Gutfeld. Say what you want, but introduces perspectives others don’t. His style is far short of Rush, but his analysis is very good.

Rush would have been chomping at the bit….and I would have been waiting patiently for that bumper music….just as I did since 1989.

Glen beck is unlistenable. His TV show was excellent because his time was limited. He tries kill three hours of radio time with stupid jokes that HE thinks are funny but are not in the least. In fact, I can’t remember his name, but when his side kick replaces him, he is far better than Beck.

When Andrew Wilkow announced that he was connecting with Beck, I canceled my Sirius account and have not listened to him since.

I will not support any promotion of that crazy Glenn Beck. He had already ruined Jay Severin R.I.P. who was a fantastic radio guy in
Boston for a few years. Possibly one of the best ever.

There is still talk radio after Rush? I wouldn't know as I haven't listened to the radio since they converted his show. The only thing comparable I listen to now is Steve Bannon's War Room.

Yes, he is missed, especially in times like this. For anyone awake at 1AM-5AM EDT, Red Eye Radio is a good show, my mom listens all the time.

I haven’t watched the news at all since Rush died. Never listen to radio stations any longer. Rather, I am getting my daily dose of FR for info. And sometimes THAT’S depressing.

Bongino was extremely depressing Friday. Rush would never have let on that he didn’t want to do his show. I have been trying all kinds of different shows, but nobody will ever replace him. God I miss him.

Looking at the comments we all have varying opinions about the current lineup of conservative radio hosts. Some of us like certain hosts while others think those people are horrible. We’ll all agree to disagree on who currently has the best conservative show on radio, but one thing we can all agree on is that none of them come close to Rush. He was one of a kind and he can never be adequately replaced or duplicated.

At this point, talk radio is so pathetic and amaturistic, I'm starting to long for Mark Stein. Bongerno isn't that good and Clay Travis and Buck Sexton just out and out suck. Now I know why Rush didn't have Sexton back for hosting duties. I honestly wish Rush did have a Conservative School of Broadcasting. By not grooming an army or replacements, we get a bunch of “I read the headline. This is what it said” amateurs who are waiting to sell the next product. Bo Snerdly would have been a great replacement.
