Or Psaki: “Let me circle back to you on that.”
And that’s been in very short supply since 1945.
They don’t call Afghanistan “ The Graveyard of Empires” for nothing.
I’d think possession would be a safe bet.
Amen!
“Even if Biden isn’t to blame, why wasn’t the Taliban destroyed with 3 presidents spending billions of dollars in Afghanistan?”
The entire enterprise was doomed from the beginning. America can’t win a war decisively in a foreign country while making war under UN rules of engagement, etc.
We could easily win any war if we were ruthless. We have everything needed to do so. We don’t fight to win and haven’t for a long time.
That says it all!
Or, “Those remarks were made 6 weeks ago. Obviously the situation changed rapidly.”
“Build back better?”
Biden, (paraphrasing) “You will not see helicopters picking people off the roof of the US Embassy”

Well, he might be right about this.
But only because we might see the Taliban throwing people off the roof.
When was this press conference?
The caption on the vid says Jul 8, 2021.
Didn’t age well, did it?
Do you watch “the behavior panel” on Youtube? 4 body language experts analyze tapes of famous and infamous people?
Di he say that yet? 🙂
Biden today said it was all Trump’s fault. Like the word from Moses, that will become gospel for the next year or so until at least 75% of Americans believe it to be true.

In case anybody forgot...
Because there was no DIME pressure towards Pakistan to root out the Taliban.
There appears to be an unlimited supply of ignorant violent jihadis in the middle east, south Asia. Each year US Coalition forces virtually killed the entire annual intake of AQ.
Extraordinary scenes of #Afghanistan’s military fleeing to #Iran with advanced equipment, likely supplied by US. Iran’s defense industries will want to get their hands on that equipment pic.twitter.com/0Ei2EgKiQ4— Jason Brodsky (@JasonMBrodsky) August 14, 2021
