I'm contracting for a "high-tech" company who is now mandating all employees and contractors get the jab. Not sure how I'm going to fight this, but it's interesting that the military has issued a similar statement today. This is where my rubber meets the road. Advice from you all is welcome except for the "just get another job".
I cannot fathom why anyone would believe anything the government tells them when it does nothing but increase their overreach and control over people.
I could not even imagine trusting someone naive enough to believe the government. It displays a total lack of discernment.
Even then, it would just be written off as coincidence.
It would have happened anyways.
As a NASM trainer, I can tell you that you don’t need a gym to stay fit...especially not in this day of virtual personal training.

United Airlines just mandated all employees be vaccinated. Someone who works for them shared this interesting info:
"The only exceptions to this policy will be employees who seek and are granted a medical or religious accommodation (RAP) or work in a state where demonstrating proof of vaccination is prohibited by law."
While I finally gave in and got the shot, I am a strong supporter of anyone else's right to refuse. This mandate bullshit is straight-on pure tyranny, and America's first public, disgusting, and revolting encounter with same.

I was only posting what others have reported here about religious exemptions. I don’t know from personal experience.
Your scenario is worth a try, but if the healthcare person is reluctant, a discreet offer of cash might make the difference.
Don’t quit, make them drag you through the entire firing process.

Compelling any employee to take any current Covid-19 vaccine violates federal
and state law.

of the Covid-19 vaccine. This right to refuse emergency, experimental vaccines, such as
the Covid-19 vaccine, implements the internationally agreed legal requirement
of Informed Consent established in the Nuremberg Code of 1947.
As the Nuremberg Code established, every person must “be able to exercise free power of
choice, without the intervention of any element of force, fraud, deceit, duress,
overreaching, or other ulterior form of constraint or coercion; and should have sufficient
knowledge and comprehension of the elements of the subject matter involved as to enable
him to make an understanding and enlightened decision” for any medical experimental drug,
as the Covid-19 vaccine currently is. The Nuremberg Code prohibited even the military
from requiring such experimental vaccines. (Doe #1 v. Rumsfeld, 297 F.Supp.2d 119 (D.D.C. 2003).
Secondly, demanding employees divulge their personal medical information invades their
protected right to privacy, and discriminates against them based on their perceived
medical status, in contravention of the Americans with Disabilities Act. (42 USC §12112(a).)
Third, conditioning continued employment upon participating in a medical experiment and
demanding disclosure of private, personal medical information, may also create employer
liability under other federal and state laws, including HIPAA, FMLA, and applicable state
tort law principles, including torts prohibiting and proscribing invasions of privacy
and battery. Indeed, any employer mandating a vaccine is liable to their employee for any

A friend of mine who works in a Walmart store (in a town with low covid rates), has been told to mask up or be terminated.
The saying goes, you can't fight city hall. Corollary, you can't sue Walmart.
Now, if you work for a smaller organization, assets only a few hundred million, maybe you can sue; that is, until you run out of money.
For most workers, it isn't feasible to resist. They have no cushion, they're just getting by. Unemployment won't understand their principled stand. Take the jab or lose the job, period.
‘Just get another job’??? Good luck if you are in your 50’s or older...
