I'm contracting for a "high-tech" company who is now mandating all employees and contractors get the jab. Not sure how I'm going to fight this, but it's interesting that the military has issued a similar statement today. This is where my rubber meets the road. Advice from you all is welcome except for the "just get another job".
Can you tell me as well! I live in Washington State and the hammer just dropped.
I was just thinking, too, that finding another job shouldn’t be that hard.
Everywhere I go I see signs begging people to work for them.
The lowest pay now is $15/hour.
That immunity is not even being discussed should be the flashing red light that the goal here may be something other than protection against the Wuhan flu.
Odd that he calls himself a contractor yet says “my company”.
Probably the same situation as my wife had. Working at a nursing home full time but for a different company than the nursing home. Gibbs Care Center was the place and Health Care Services Group was who she worked for. The latter handled laundry, housekeeping and kitchen staff with the former handling admin and nursing staff.
Still makes him an employee, just for a company other than the local concern. The company my wife worked for, Health Care Services Group, provided services for small nursing homes all over the country. She got bi-weekly paychecks and a W2 from them. I was self employed once and had to fill out 1099s and received W9s at the end of the year. That’s a contractor.

FYI. There is a “traditional” Covid vaccine supposedly coming out at the end of the year (Novavax). It will be like the annual flu vax. (I’ve never had a flu vaccination.)
I might consider that one but I refuse to take the MRNA experiment shot.
My response to anyone forcing me to get the vax:. “When the borders are secure, I will get the shot”.

I worked in biotech and research for 15 years.
I trust the scientists behind the Moderna
vaccine.
Its coming so you may as well accept the fact that without it, you won’t be flying anywhere, attending a concert or theatre, and lots more.
And it is not going to hurt you no matter what the fruitcake “doctors” are telling you on obscure websites.
I really encourage people to read a college level biochem text.
If they come for our guns, I am right next to you.
But to resist this vaccine and believe all this horsesh*t just makes people here look ignorant.
Covid can kill you or make you dependent on oxygen for the rest of your life, perhaps. The delta variant is more potent.
Why take that chance?

I don't live in any kind of fear at all, although it sounds as if you had a fear of Covid that drove you to get the shot. (Had you yourself tried taking any of those drugs that can help you with anxiety? How did they work out?)
My pandemic ended last year. (If I approach an establishment that requires a mask, then I'll mask up if I need to be there; otherwise, I'll go somewhere else.)
You chastise someone for living in fear and then use fear to coerce them into doing something you want them to do that they don’t want to.
How hypocritical.
People wouldn’t be living in fear if people like you weren’t trying to terrorize them into taking an experimental treatment by pushing your fearporn narrative.

Why even take an EXPERIMENTAL ‘vax’ for something that is 99.9% survivable??
You cannot ‘vax’ corona viruses. It’s never been done. These cv viruses have been in existence for a loooooong time.
You mentioned that you’ve never taken a flu vax.
Do you take a vax for the cold?
No. Because there cannot be one. Same with cv’s.
Besides....flu vaxxes are NEVER 100%....not even, typically, the current year strain roaming around.
NATURAL immunity is always best.
