Lindsey Graham's "Live Telephone Town Hall" Meeting

Lindsey Graham had been collaborating heavily with Senator John McCain before Sen. McCain passed away in 2018. During this time Sen. Graham was negotiating for another amnesty, and taking positions that were very unpopular in his home state.

Either due to COVID or due to his busy schedule, there was no in person town hall meeting. However, any in person town hall meeting that had actual live persons asking questions, would have been highly embarrassing to Senator Graham, who was actively cutting deals with Democrats.

Senator Graham instead, used a scheduled "live telephone town hall" format to answer questions. However, things were not what they seemed. The callers were all sycophants. There were no hostile questions allowed. They really sounded, and were scripted.

This is a dishonest practice abetted by the SC Republican Party. I recently spoke with a Republican who defended Senator Graham, and said that it was his political consultant's fault for being overly protective. If you will combine this totalitarian behavior with social media censorship, and mainstream media propaganda, then are we stuck with a duplicitous politician for life?
