Disturbing video shows California deputy OD after examining fentanyl
Heart-stopping footage shows a rookie deputy in California examining fentanyl during a drug bust — then keeling over and almost dying from an overdose just from being “too close” to it.
San Diego sheriff’s Deputy David Faiivae was shown examining the white powder in a car last month, with his training officer, Corporal Scott Crane, telling him, “That stuff’s no joke, it is super dangerous,” according to a video put out by police as a warning.
As Crane tells him he is “too close,” Faiivae suddenly stiffens up — and collapses on the ground, the bodycam footage released Thursday shows

I miss the 1950s. The world is completely mad today. Hostile. Broken.
It’s like the Twilight zone, we have all these people who completely reject logic. What the hell is the logic of having a wide open border? How does that serve the interests of the USA? All it does it cause tremendous problems and put millions of lives at risk. The same with the support of Marxist politicians, why the hell would anyone in their right mind support someone who supports a political ideology responsible for 100 million deaths and a billion people enslaved? We seem to have this whole group of people today living in another dimension.
That’s one powerful drug! Any drug dealer smuggling or dealing that stuff should suffer dire consequences.
This put me in mind of the old movies and TV shows where a cop would cut open a bag of drugs, stick their finger in it, and taste it, pronouncing it “Pure heroin.”
China is the bogeyman. It’s the same people bringing it in who flooded China with Opium in the 1800s with the intent to destabilize. How many men were addicted to Opium at the height of the Opium Wars? What was the effect on China? Who was responsible?
Yep and when they aren’t busy bringing in opium and fentanyl, then they’re bringing in viruses and democraps kiss their butts

When you accept that many people in leadership hate the USA and want to destroy in, the logic becomes obvious.
That is true, we have domestic enemies in office as far as I’m concerned and a bunch of morons who are perfectly fine with that.

The trouble is that the video is not continuous. It shows him looking at a bag, then cuts away, then cuts back in to show him falling over. What happened in between? Did he sample it?
Exactly, if just getting near the stuff kills you, how do you distribute? And more importantly how in the world do you have any users of the stuff?
No, just a few particles in the air is enough to OD someone. The stuff is so powerful it’s insane. A few years ago a teen down in Florida died for merely walking past where a small amount of fentanyl was on the ground.
That stuff is utterly terrifying because the same could happen to any one of us and the thing is if you OD on it, nobody around will know what is going on unless they are trained to recognize it. They’ll think you had a heart attack. The reason this cop was saved is because the cops were prepared for it, knew to immediately recognize it but if it happened to me or you, nobody would know what was going on never mind that they wouldn’t have Narcan on them and by the time an ambulance came it would be too late
If we had a REAL media in this country, they would alert the people to this real danger of having an open border which is fentanyl is flooding into the country. The Chinese are trying to kill us. What’s even more terrifying is that cops routinely arrest people with POUNDS of the stuff, enough to take out millions of people. People think 911 was bad? Imagine a million people dead in the streets from terrorists using a drone to spread this stuff in a city. And the thing is you don’t have to breath it, just getting it on your skin is enough

Yah, if a bag of any size is opened and “fluffed” (e.g., poked, dropped, etc) the powder expelled, while nearly invisible, is sufficient to kill in minutes. Coppers now carry shots intended to safe twits from heroin OD.
Just to do their bloody jobs.
I suspect the only quick, safe way to deal with this sort of release in a car is to just fill the car with firefighting foam and bury it.

No offense, but am I the only one who is having trouble squaring these two sentences? Seems if you had the first you would not have the second.
Also we know there are users of this crap all over the world. How does one use this drug if being near even particles floating in the air kills people?

I know I was trying to rationalize that as well. I assume the bags are sealed airtight or the fentanyl is diluted. I do know they mix it with heroin. All I know is I read stories all the time of people dying from just being near that crap. I’m assuming it has to do with dilution vs. pure stuff. Fentanyl is what killed the rock stars Prince and Tom Petty.
