Are you two clones?
Been waiting for years for this movie to be made and shown.
Don’t like the metrosexual actor playing Paul, though.
They are going to keep remaking this movie until spice is discovered on a distant planet...
;-)
I’m in for the movie provided it isn’t too woke.
Hopefully, this one is closer to the book.
Gholas .......................
I read the first one, found a major plot hole then never bothered with any others. There was a movie but Sting was in it and that was enough for me to skip it.
Me to, I saw this twice already and I am not seeing woke in it, but only time will tell, I am stoked for this. I watched the 1984 movie and the 2000’s miniseries btw.
Hollywood is officially out of gas.
Sting did good in the movie. Your loss.
I have been busy making a fish hook big enough to put those worms on.
I’m going after the galaxy record Bluegill.
Gonna need a bigger starship........................
Me too.
I nearly set fire to “Chapterhouse Dune” it was so bad.
Looks cool but not thrilled about the victimization speech from their Chauni at start. Didn’t ever imagine the fremen talking line that.
I read the first three books. I understand the story. But this trailer seems a mish-mash. Looks like a war movie. Looks like the primitive Fremen on Arrakis are abused bystanders in the war. Looks like Paul’s father is a central character, his mother not so much. Also, the trailer switches between Arrakis and Caladan — very different environments with no explanation. And the spice, as far as one can tell, is a tasty thing to put on your chili.
In short: I suspect that the trailer is a poor representation of the actual story in the full movie.
It could be the greatest movie in movie history and I won’t be watching. My days of supporting big entertainment are over.
Likely it will be infested with revisionist leftist political ideology.
Coming from somewhat of a Dune fan. We say “Muad’ Dib” when to express wonder or incredulity. And make the sound of the Weirding Module sometimes, instead of “pew-pew” or the like.
There was even a movie about the unmade version of Dune in the mid-70s. Production drawings, interviews. No action.
Anything has to be better than the original POS “Dune” movie
