The golf course crime spree is relieving men of their expensive Rolexes.

A pair of female thieves posing as reps for a charity have been prowling upscale golf courses in southern England, swiping Rolexes from the wrists of wealthy older men.

Police say the thieves are dark-haired women in their 20s or 30s with "Eastern European accents" who have reportedly robbed 14 golfers at posh UK golf courses.

For people that actually work with their hands and tools, it’s much easier to rotate your wrist to see what time it is rather than putting down a tool, cleaning off your hands, then digging in your pocket or carrier then pushing a button to see what time it is. If you’re just sitting at a desk and your hands are clean and usually not holding or operating sometimes heavy tools you may have a point.

They made it worse. The characters are more cartoony.

Also, the computer play mode is pretty bad, and the computer has a very limited number of setups, but it is still a way to pass time when waiting for something/someone.

I have a number of expensive Swiss watches (e.g., Rolex, Breitling), but I haven’t worn them a single day since I got my first Apple Watch. By the way, I have an analog clock face on my Apple Watch—try it, you might like it.

Had a port visit to Naples, Italy. My buddy and I get some money exchanged at the Camino (money exchange ) . out in town. Group of 8-10 “street urchins” of various ages probably from 4-15 and a Adult ring leader. They swarmed my friend, I kept walking, telling him, “Don’t stop, keep going !” Nope, he learned the hard way. One of them managed to put their hand in his front pocket and relieve him of the $50 in Lira that he had just exchanged.

When I grew up, all watches were mechanical. The automatic was an ideal I could never afford, before electronic became commonplace.

Dead batteries finally made me find the Seiko automatic, again, and this time I could afford them. Glad they were still around. I expect they may outlive me.
